01.01.2022 Our most felt congratulations to the gorgeous Jodi O'Connor of Ronnoco for being nominated for the 'Hunter COVID Business Hero' in the Hunter Business Chamber Business Awards for 2020! After Soul Café CEO Rick Prosser spoke of the ‘tsunami of need’ that had hit the homelessness charity during COVID, and the forced cancellation of its major annual fundraiser, Sleepout for Soul, Jodi decided to organise the 'Sleepout for Soul at Home’ event instead. While still running he...r own small business Jodi pulled Sleepout for Soul at Home together in just 4 weeks, raising nearly $90,000 for Soul Café. A monumental achievement! Jodi O’Connor(pictured left with our Education and & Experience Manager Brooke Phillips) is Managing Director of Newcastle-based design and branding studio Ronnoco and one of our Experts in Residence. She clearly is also a truly compassionate and caring member of the Hunter's business community and we wish her luck for the awards. Although knowing Jodi, just knowing how much good she did is probably reward enough! See more
