24.01.2022 Singing workshop moving towards using the voice as an African choir to back up my original song Treasure for the Busselton Choral Societys Concert on June 30th...! These sweeties have the challenging task of learning to sing in Kinyarwanda with Dance Abletts stunning harmonic arrangements! They are doing so well- a special time together. 23.01.2022 Due to COVID 19 the choir is taking a break from rehearsals and concerts. How many people would be interested in doing virtual rehearsals? Interesting article on how it can work.... it might take a bit of getting used to with the new technology, but we will all have lots of time on our hands so might be worth trying.

23.01.2022 Get ready Busselton Choir, you are soon to get your hands on some new music! I am nearly finished the score of "Treasure", by local singer-songwriter Andrea Frances Manners. We will be preparing this piece to sing with Andrea herself in our June concert. So excited to hear it come together!

21.01.2022 Come and tap along to music through the decades from 1950 up to today! Concert this Sunday 30th June, 2pm at the Uniting Church. Hosted by the Busselton Choir (choral society) featuring Andrea Frances Manners, and the MacKillop College High school ensembles. Expect to hear music from ABBA, the Beatles, Elton John, Lady Gaga and so much more! Tickets $20, children free, sumptuous afternoon tea provided.

19.01.2022 Another wonderful night of singing, working towards our upcoming performance at the Busselton Fringe and getting started learning All I Ask Of You from Phantom of the Opera. Here is a little sneak peak of our rehearsal. We rehearse every Thursday night, 7.30 to 9.30 at the Busselton RSL hall. Everyone is welcome, experienced singers and closet singers! Just come and give it a go, we will welcome you with open arms.

12.01.2022 A great turn out tonight at the Busselton Choir. We worked on a Zulu folk song Aya Ngena, All I Ask Of You from Phantom, we created an arrangement of a lullaby and sung in round and had a quick sing through Hernandos Hideaway- having lots of laughs creating muted trumpet sounds! Thanks to all the wonderful members for making the newcomers feel so welcome, I think we all had a buzz!

11.01.2022 I love to sing! what a great night we have had, meeting new singers, reuniting with dear friends after the summer break and having a fantastic singing time. This photo is taken from our energetic warmup where we throw imaginary basket balls to help visualise the high note we are singing in the phrase as we sing the words:I love to sing! Looking forward to next Thursday night, and for any of you out there in facebook world teetering on the edge of joining a choir..... just do it and come along next week, give it a try!

07.01.2022 What music would you like to have arranged in a-cappella style for the choir to sing?

07.01.2022 Wow! What an incredible night! All our dreams came true and more that 20 men from all over our region came together for our first men only singing night. The sound they all created was so powerful and moving- first singing a pub style round, a Georgian rugby call, and finishing with All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera. Cant wait for next week where we will see what else these amazing men can do!

Anyone is welcome to come along and give it a go, we start at 7.15 at the Busselton RSL hall, Thursday nights.
