07.01.2022 It's great news that government measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19 are beginning to be relaxed. The new guidelines now allow for groups of 10 to gather, while maintaining social distancing. The BCC Committee has conferred, and due to the difficulty in maintaining strict social distancing while riding in a bunch, has decided that official BCC club activities will remain on hold until further notice. We encourage you all to stay active and keep riding, ready for the return to more normal conditions! Keep well and Keep Safe! BCC Committee The following article is some food for thought! http://www.potomacpedalers.org/presidents-page-april-2020

04.01.2022 Group Ride Update: With the relaxation of COVID 19 restrictions to Phase 3 from last week, the BCC committee has met to discuss the possible resumption of sanctioned group rides. It was discussed that due to the rigid monitoring of numbers, attendees, contact information and COVID19 Safety procedures it is not feasible at the present time to re-commence BCC sanctioned group rides. We encourage people to continue to ride, if they are comfortable doing so, whether it is in a gr...oup or solo. The decision will be re-assessed if/when Phase 4 restrictions and guidelines are introduced. The Westcycle guidelines the committee is following can be viewed here; https://westcycle.org.au/covid-19-resources/
04.01.2022 Still plenty of activity happening by BCC members in this time of social isolation.... 199 this week to be exact. Today we saw Eagle Bay as a hotspot, also gravel rides, cowtown loops, Forrest beach, and trips to Nannup, Margs & Dunsborough MTB tracks as well as some of our Perth friends riding Round the River. Join the BCC strava club to see what others are doing and maybe make an extra effort to comment/ encourage/ kudos someone to keep some connection going. (.These are s...trange times, but, sorry, not strange enough to start giving Kudos for Zwifting.) Struggling for motivation to get out.... check out someone else’s ride and use it for inspiration. Also, take care of your safety if riding solo. Lights and visible clothing are a must, but also consider a tracking app so those at home can find you if you find trouble. Keep on riding and keep on following the rules!!! Keep healthy! See more
03.01.2022 For those who may be interested...

Get you membership ducks in a row now through Cycling Australia and be ready to join in when we are back! https://cyclingtips.com//can-you-be-sued-for-causing-a-gr/
