19.01.2022 Are you following my Heimat yet? You might be missing out on all the wonderful Simply Sourdough updates and what the formerly busy lisi is up to these days. This page will remain online for now, but no updates will be made and busy lisi as a business will officially close.

16.01.2022 I've been a little quiet lately. Probably for a few reasons, some more obvious than others. I had every intention to do a live hot cross bun class with those who were interested this afternoon and had thought I'd use that class to kick off a new and evolved business. But as life goes, it turns out I am meant to wait a little longer for that business to emerge. And that is OK. Patience is probably one of the biggest things I need to learn. Patience and mindfulness are also not... quite the same as 'busy', another reason my business name needs some work... If this time of uncertainty and upheaval in the world is teaching us only one thing, it is probably to slow down and go back to our roots and the things that matter and to let go of those that don't. So I will do my very best to rest and learn and listen. I know this next step is not too far away and am excited to share it with you when the time is right. Until then, I will cope in the best way I know how, and bake up a storm, plant my feet firmly on the ground in garden and listen to the chooks cluck and the horses breath. Because our world as we knew it may have nearly come to a standstill, but life out there, and nature is carrying on and may just be better off by all this human activity slowing down... #backtonature #findyourroots #slowdown #baketomeditate #equinetherapy #patienceisavirtue

14.01.2022 Frohe Ostern and Happy Easter! It certainly is a different Easter this year... And there isn't even a German Osterzopf on the table. Maybe later today... But there is a rainbow of hardboiled eggs, both saved up from our own backyard chooks and @jamberoomountainfarm and @illawarra_organics , there are cheeses from @thepineskiama and @pecoradairy thanks to the wonderful home delivery service. And of course there are happy little people who the Easter bunny visited overnight and who are now busy stuffing their faces with chocolate eggs and bunnies. So some things haven't changed, and some have changed for the better.
