13.01.2022 A message from Perth Playback Theatre Director Arlene Quinn

13.01.2022 guilty as charged. I think I have done all of these NO no s in my past employee and present coach life. no excuse except a brain that thinks more quickly than the typing fingers can do brings spelling errors. What I have trained my self to do is CHECK , CHECK twice before sending to add those words of connection and check out misspelt words ( a few will always trip me up). For those with over flowing emails I solute you in taking the courage to tackle them, for it feels so so much better knowing you have rules, filters and junk folders to pop emails into.

11.01.2022 All are welcome to attend our upcoming Open Rehearsal. Sunday 22 March 1 - 4 pm Maida Vale Primary School ... Come and join us for an afternoon of improvisation. What to expect? The afternoon session provides an opportunity for anyone to come and be part of the Perth Playback company during our rehearsal. We will provide a fun, active and safe way for you to participate. As part of our rehearsal approach, we will demonstrate some of our playback forms. Our main aim in Playback is to honour the teller (the person sharing their story), which means listen respectfully, dont embellish your own ideas onto their character, and dont judge them if you dont agree with them. Very useful Professional Development for drama teachers, facilitators, creatives and ANYONE who wants to connect and have fun. We meet at 13:00 at the library in the centre of the school complex. Our venue is a nut-free school. You can stay as long as you choose and participate as much as you like. Questions? send us a message, comment below or send an email to [email protected]
