24.01.2022 Face mask making conclusions. I prefer the band made from a shoelace looped around the back of neck with a bead at the knotted amulet end around top of head. Best material heavier weight cotton for the outer and iron on interfacing on the inside layer. Nose piece - flexible covered garden wire. Pattern - Aplat Mask with minor tweaks.

21.01.2022 Sorry for being missing in action. A family funeral had us travel interstate. Not the circumstances we wanted for a family get together... but the cuddles of all her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren helped my quilting mentor MotherinLaw immensely. GOOD NEWS is there are multiple parcels waiting for me to restock the shelves with so the SHOP has been repopulated. Orders will ship from Tuesday.

16.01.2022 An oldie that I put diagonally onto my longarm so that the #Seafoam pantograph could follow the piecing lines. Lives in the camper so has just received another wash! Ready for some more campfires.

10.01.2022 Do you own a Singer Featherweight? Some interesting facts on the bobbin cases. So now I need to check all my bobbin cases to see what Vintage they are.

10.01.2022 Reason 1 for why I quilt for others... the excited phone call from the owner after they get home and see the quilt for the first time, after a non reveal drop off at a shopping centre. Reason 2 rather than giving it away they now want to keep it for themselves.

03.01.2022 I love my #CloverFlowerHeadpins. They lay flat and do not mind being sewn through Plus the needle was not harmed. I only pin when the backing is too short and pinning on a selvedged Wideback cutoff gives me enough extra to not worry about running short at the bottom.
