21.01.2022 Dear Parents/Carers, The updated Departmental COVID-19 Guidelines have specific requirements for students who display flu like symptoms; 'If a student has been ...absent due to flu-like illness or develops flu-like symptoms while at school, they are not to return to school until they have a negative COVID-19 test and are symptom-free. The negative COVID-19 test result must be sighted and received by the school for both students and staff members before their return to school.' If this applies to your child in the coming weeks, please ensure that they bring their test result with them to school on their return, or that you send us a copy of the result via email. Students will not be able to re-enter learning activities until the test result is received by the office. The NSW Department Of Education have this week stated that where a parent/carer is unwilling to allow their child to undertake a COVID test or provide the school with a negative COVID-19 test result, the student is to be excluded from school for a 10 day period. Additionally, the student must have been symptom free for at least 3 days before returning to school. Thank you for your understanding and support.

This will be replacing the feedback jar and questions jars that ar...e kept on the parent desk and your participation is greatly appreciated. We need you help and feedback to ensure we continue to improve and strive to provide the best quality care possible. Here is the link to our NOVEMBER 2020 Question of the Month: Do you feel BVPS OOSH have been clear with communication to changes of operation during COVID-19? If you also have a booking for... Tuesday the 29th, encourage your children to bring along their tie-dye outfits, as these would look great for our festival theme! We will also try and encourage for the clothing/ items to remain at OOSH if your children are attending on the Tuesday to prevent things being forgotten. Thank you and have a lovely afternoon Kind Regards, Lauren Gleeson Berkeley Vale Public School Out of School Hours Care (BVPS OOSH) Assistant Coordinator [email protected] 02 4389 8734/ 0432 335 866
