25.01.2022 Fun little day at the wildhorse mountain maximum adventure race. We lost people, we found people, we rode, we ran, we paddled. Glenn Wilkinson Hailey McGinty Joseph McKay Stewart Hammond Daniel Delaney Daniel Cooper Everett Putney Paul William Cross

25.01.2022 Fellow adventure seekers! Watch us race this weekend in the Rogue Raid 24hr. Tracker becomes live at race start Saturday 29/8/20 1000am. Team 30 - BWAR-GE lots of paddlin! ... https://www.tulospalvelu.fi/gps/20200829rogueraid/

24.01.2022 It was roughly October 2018 - I was looking to plan the following years races to test ourselves within the A1 circuit. We're a new team so naturally we had immersed ourselves in as many races as possible for maximum exposure. We crunched some numbers on the Falls Creek 24 hour event in January 2019 and they just didn't stack up after travel & accommodation etc. [ 1,128 more word ] http://bwar.com.au//lead-up-to-expedition-racing-an-amate/

21.01.2022 6 x Mount Coolum repeats isn't as cool as it sounds. Glenn Wilkinson Daniel Delaney Stewart Hammond Everett Putney

20.01.2022 This one's for Frank McGinty; our only true fan (nipples out mad for BWAR!) Captains Log: Date 12 Sep 2020 I grew up in this area. Some families went bowling, some went to the movies we went camping and most of the time it was either Fraser Island or Inskip point that we called out temporary home away from home. Safe to say I was excited to investigate the rarely traversed parts of this beautiful area. [ 1,455 more word ] http://bwar.com.au//hells-bells-2020-race-report-rainbow-/

20.01.2022 The BWAR team will be slogging out a 150km ride through some solid country. Starting at Elimbah train station, heading past Woodford and up into the Belthorpe state forest and back to the Sunshine Coast through Maleny and Forest Glen. Everyone is welcome to join! When: Friday 1/3/19 - 1900 sharp Where: Elimbah train station You'll need: a solid MTB with good climbing gear! Plenty of water, food and light as well as spare tires, tubes, Co2 canisters and batteries as you see f...it. Aim to be completely self sufficient as we were out for 13 hours last time we completed the ride. GPX file available for any interested. Hope to see you there.

19.01.2022 Update We were shortcoursed as we arrived at TA3 too late (planned to spend 12 hours on the hike but turned into 30 hours). Pushed to TA5 for hike and bike. I've had to pull off the bike due to leg issues but will come back for the final kayak. Glenn, Stewy and Joe are going strong on the bike and expected to arrive this evening or early tomorrow morning for a rest before the final push to the finish line.

19.01.2022 So we did it again... only this time it hosed down for about 6 hours. 150km and 2700m elevation gain. Belthorpe national park is... brutal. Well done team! Glenn Wilkinson Daniel Delaney Everett Putney

18.01.2022 Good hit out from the BWAR lads last night. Well done team! Glenn Wilkinson Joseph McKay Stewart Hammond

16.01.2022 Everett Putney Glenn Wilkinson Daniel Delaney @Greg Vale Matthew Logan I write this to you all in a state of semi satisfaction, yet with early and onset signs of arthritis and 1 or 2 smaller injuries and paralysis tics etc. etc. Firstly, what a fantastic place on earth! Yamba turned it on for Geoquest 2019. A sleepy town centre where all the locals are only too happy to chat to you about their day or the fish they're not catching. 14.01.2022 Good training session last night. 30km paddle and 50km ride up to montville and back at 0330! Paddling on the maroochy river at night with a full moon, clear sky and flat water is like paddling through a painting... heaven. A couple of on road mechanical issues to top it off. Everett Putney Glenn Wilkinson Joseph McKay Stewart Hammond Daniel Delaney.

14.01.2022 Thanks to Mojo for a cracking race at Lake Moogerah! Well done to teams BWAR - GE, HD and JD. 10.01.2022 Bunyaville mini Rogaine. So much lantana which gave us so many owchies. Another well organised event by the Queensland Rogaine Association. Glenn Wilkinson Everett Putney

09.01.2022 Everett Putney Glenn Wilkinson Joseph McKay Stewart Hammond Rogue Adventure What a race! First and foremost the organisers and volunteers have our utmost respect for that beast of an adventure. The sheer logistical nightmare to piece together water, transport, national parks approvals, local council approvals, water safety approvals and more... was almost unfathomable. To Liam and the team, stellar job and we hope to become involved in another race of your flavour again soon! [ 1,596 more word ] http://bwar.com.au//raid-100-race-report-an-amateurs-pers/

07.01.2022 Captains Log: Date 14 Mar 2020. We had flown down to HQ the day prior to prepare for the race and were cognisant of the weather noting the forecasts were unanimous "scattered hellfire with a touch of Mordor". Time: 0330 The predictions became reality. Our small cabin definitely wasn't in Kansas anymore as the wind and rain swept across the sleepy town of [ 1,813 more word ] http://bwar.com.au//terra-nova-2020-race-report-jervis-bay/

07.01.2022 New race kits! Thanks to The Columbian Coffee Co Mooloolaba, Infinit Nutrition Australia, Jo from Tineli Australia for organising the kits and Chris Amos for the initial design. A big thanks to the main sponsors RCQ Construction for the support.

06.01.2022 Glenn Wilkinson Everett Putney Michelle Putney Hailey McGinty Daniel Delaney Joseph McKay Wild & Co It was 0600 Saturday, my parental alarm clock went off with my kids jumping on my testicles as always. The sun was breaching through the windows and the day . was . glorious. Amazing conditions for adventure racing. The previous year’s Hells Bells chewed me up and spat me out in the Woondum National Park so this time I had a chip on my shoulder, and its flavor was redemption.
