15.01.2022 Only a few weeks to go .... Sat 18 Aug @ Coogee Legion - C U there?

14.01.2022 Special thanks to Pete Glendenning who filled in for our drummer Ian 'Skatman' Vernon last Saturday night. The lads from the BWB were in great form and a guest appearance by a much younger member of the audience, did lower the average age of the band quite substantially!

14.01.2022 We were fortunate enough to get a few words from our drummer Ian 'The Scatman' Vernon on his return gig last night at the Coogee Legion Club.

12.01.2022 BWB - Returns to Coogee Legion Club.

12.01.2022 Huge shout out to all - BWB will be rocking the night away at Coogee Legion Club, hoping to see many of our old friends and maybe some new friends too!

12.01.2022 Unfortunately the BWB's illustrious drummer Ian 'The Scatman' Vernon is on the injured list at the moment and we all wish him a speedy recovery. While he is out of action, here are a few photos and a little video gathered over the last couple of years, as a reminder of the energy, fun, personality and expertise he brings to every BWB gig. Get well soon Scat!

11.01.2022 As Ray Hadley explained yesterday on his 2GB morning radio show, the Broken Watch Band, along with the famous ‘Phantom Whistler’ are back in action this Saturday night (29th Feb) at the Coogee Legion Club. Although Ray was very generous in his praise, I must point out that we’re really not that old and when injury free, we do play more than once a year! We hope to see you there.

10.01.2022 This morning I thought it might be appropriate to send Ray Hadley at 2GB an email thanking him for giving our gig at the Coogee Legion Club a plug on his show last week. The night was a great success and to our surprise he even found time to read the email on air today. In fact he has been so generous with his air time, his listeners must be wondering who on earth this Broken Watch Band mob are! Thanks to everyone who came along on Saturday night, especially to Luke Glendenning who came off the reserve bench to play bass for us and my Will who played a few songs so I could capture some of the action. The boys also added some much needed youth and good looks to the line up!

10.01.2022 Dance away your winter blues with the BROKEN WATCH BAND (BWB) and friends at the COOGEE LEGION CLUB this Saturday Night JUNE 22 from 7.30pm. The club has a great restaurant and is situated right on Coogee Beach. There's nothing like live music and we guarantee you'll know every single song. There is no cover charge, but restaurant bookings are essential. We hope to see you Saturday! https://www.coogeelegionclub.com.au

09.01.2022 Back in May 2018 when the BWB played at Souths Juniors, we were fortunate enough to get a rare insight into the workings of Mark Glendennings effects peddle board.

08.01.2022 BWB was keeping pretty good company when playing at the University of Sydney Roundhouse back in 1993!

08.01.2022 BWB is back at the Coogee Legion Club - hoping to see you all there for another great night. SPECIAL GUEST - Sporting Celebrity planning to join the boys for a few songs .... Who could it be? TBC very soon!

07.01.2022 Last March we were fortunate enough to have one of the original BWB members Pete Heyward make a guest appearance at the Coogee Legions Club. Pete has been living in LA for many years now so it was fantastic to have him back in town.

07.01.2022 BWB are back in 2019 @ Coogee Legion Club on Sat 2 March from 7:30pm

05.01.2022 It was such an amazing concert by the EAGLES at the QUDOS Stadium, but even better, a few of the Broken Watch Band (BWB) members and friends got a little backstage tour before the show. Thank you to Victor from the EAGLES road crew for his generosity and the amazing Joseph Panuccio for arranging such an unforgettable experience for us all. Here is a little snippet of what we were privileged to see.

01.01.2022 In this video, our singer Phil Glendenning introduces the BWB members on Saturday night (2-3-19) to their 'adoring fans' at the Coogee Legion Club. Thanks again to Pete Glendenning who did a great job filling in on drums for our injured Ian 'Scatman' Vernon. Thanks to everyone who showed up and joined in the fun.
