Geelong born and raised, Kristi Van Es , presented a powerful and moving presentation on the injustice of sex trafficking in India.... I waited patiently for 6 months, on hold at library, and it came in just in time for Summer reading Michelle Obama, what an incredible lady. Making the most of her time at the Whitehouse - tackling childhood obesity and an advocate for addressing poverty and educating women around the world. ... Shame new incumbent of the Whitehouse was such an interesting choice. What a challenging day it must have been for Michelle when she handed over to Melania Trump.

Small businesses run the risk of closing doors as they run out of cash, many service providers seeing their income vanish as e-commerce businesses that dont sell essential products watch their revenue take a nose dive. ... But, in all of this, there are some businesses out there who are not sitting in idle mode and the strong will survive. This has been the busiest 3-weeks for me as I help clients - - Take their training on line via Webinars - Offer patient appointments via Telehealth - Start up drive through flu clinics - Promote new ideas and inventions! - Refresh their website - Building evergreen You Tube libraries - Take pen to paper to write articles (that they previously never had any time to do) - Move entire teams into working from home with tools theyve never used - Lift their marketing tobe seen How have you been forced to pivot your business through these times? Back in 2016 Pat Rowan & I initiated a meeting of parties interested in bringing the film industry to Geelong. The vision was 3 supportive activities: ... 1. Staging of the Geelong Waterfront Film Festival 2. A local film making competition to showcase up and coming talent 3. Establishment of the Waterfront Film Foundation offering grants to entice filming in the region. It is with much excitement that finally we announce the Treasurer and the Minister for the Arts has approved the addition of the Waterfront Film Foundation to the Register of Cultural Organisations (ROCO). When I was involved with BPW Geelonge mentored a group of students from North Geelong Secondary College I dont know where these young ladies are today but back then they embraced the opportunity to come to Australia as refugees - doing Year 12 with English as their 2nd language.... The program was as rewarding for us as it was for them. Sharing the gorgeous winners with you: Best Ladies Spring Oufit... Best Spring Millinery For these girls, it's serious business (and there's some nice prizes too), dressing up for Spring Racing, a different oufit for each race meet.
