As part of the R100 Theme where Aust & NZ Rotary Clubs will celebrate 100 yrs of service in 2021, your District has been challenged to lift Centurion Club Membership to 50% of District Membership. In order to meet this challenge, you can assist by making ‘The Australian Rotary Foundation’ your Charity of Choice. No other charity offers the benefit where you can personally see the results. 11.01.2022 Hi Members & Guests, Our guest speaker this week is Jason Ball, whose presentation is titled: "Free To Be Me: Why LGBTIQ Inclusion Matters." Jason provided a sh...ort bio to Program Chair Bob: Jason Ball is a pioneering LGBTIQ and mental health advocate, who in 2012 came out as gay and spearheaded a campaign to tackle homophobia in the AFL. Jason is the Co-founder of Pride Cup Australia, an organisation that works with all levels of sport to create pride activations and deliver education to increase LGBTIQ visibility and engagement. In 2017 Jason was named Young Australian of the Year for Victoria, and in 2016 and 2019 he stood as a Federal candidate for the Australian Greens. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Prahran since 2015. We can certainly recommend attendance at this week's meeting. So, join President Zeki on Wednesday evening for the meeting.
