05.01.2022 With a full moon at 5:21am on Sunday, Bridport is looking beautiful and is ready to welcome visitors again. Businesses are open and eager to see you; just remem...ber that there are still restrictions which will affect seating numbers in eateries, so please be mindful of that. Opening times might also be different from the usual, so check on Face Book pages. The Information Pavilion will reopen on June 29th. In the meantime, the most requested info is on display in the Pav windows. Do come and enjoy our Village by the Sea. See more

05.01.2022 They may not be high fashion items, but gummies and hiking boots would be most appropriate footwear if you are coming to the Scallop Fiesta tomorrow, Sunday 23r...d; the Village Green is extremely wet and muddy. Otherwise, every thing is set up and ready for a great day out for those lucky enough to have tickets. See more

04.01.2022 Great day for a market - come on down now

03.01.2022 Some important information before tomorrow's event... The forecast is looking great. We have had a lot of rain so there will be some puddles and muddy patches o...n the track. Race bib collection will be from 8:00am Sunday morning. Pre race briefing at 9:50 am. There is a water refill and toilets located at the adventure playground adjacent to the Village Green. Both the 5k and the 10+ start and finish at the village green (despite the below maps). We will have a BBQ stall selling burgers, sausages and drinks. Also, the wonderful Ye Olde Green Grocer have donated some post race fruit for all competitors. We are mindful of the uncertain covid situation in Southern Tasmania and we want everyone at this event to be safe. The event has a covid plan in place and adheres to current public health advice. You will need to check in using the Check-In Tas app. There will be plenty of QR codes at the event. Please practice social distancing. If you are feeling even mildly unwell stay home. Those registered will receive an email via webscorer detailing race information. Enjoy!

02.01.2022 Plan to see this for yourself sometime soon

01.01.2022 OK so its take two of the great splitters challenge. The weather robbed us off in-shell scallops for racing at the Fiesta, but knives are being sharpened for ...a competition on Sunday 13 September 2020. Its to be held on the street verge in front of the Bridport Hotel around 3 pm, so youre welcome to get along to cheer on contestants to find the fastest and cleanest splitter of Tassie scallops anywhere.
