Her first zone she did not final. She set her goal to final the next year and smashed it out of the park, placing and then going on to make the National Semi.... Brookes achievements are incredible: 2010 - National Semi Final 2011 - National Final 2012 - National Final 2013 - National Final 2014 - National 2nd Place 2015 - National Champion 2016 - National Champion 2017 - National 2nd Place 2018 - National 3rd Place 2019 - National 4th Place 2020 - State 5th Place What an incredible track record! 11 years of National representation, 7 consecutive placings with ONE OF EVERY COLOUR. 05.01.2022 TEAM GIRL Brooke Mason - 15 years Brooke is our 2020 Team Girl recipient! Every year many girls blow us away with their committment and effort in teams. Whether that be doubling up, extra classes etc. This girl here has blown us away year after year! Physie does not come naturally to this young woman, but WOW does she try so so hard to get it right! Brooke started physie later than most young girls and has had to do the hard yards to learn how to execute some really... hard syllabus moves. Brooke has worked down many a time to ensure a younger age group can still have their team go on the floor. She takes every single critique on board and tries her absolute hardest to get it right! She practices at home, sends photos and videos to teachers to ask if it is correct and does it all with a smile on her face! Brooke loves to dance and her respect and love of her teachers and teammates is what made her our 2020 Team Girl! Congratulations Brooke - we are so proud and grateful See more

04.01.2022 SPIRIT OF BWU Mia Vaughan - 1st year senior Our biggest and most prestigious major award. The Spirit of BWU is awarded to any dancer, parent of family who emulate the values of BWU. They are passionate, selfless, involved, resilient, encouraging and inclusive. ... This year our award recipient went to Mia - an incredible and heartwarming young lady! Mia joined physie at 6 years old and has had many personal and team achievements. Her respect for her teachers and rapport with her peers is admirable! Mia is always happy for the success of others and goes along to competitions she is not in to cheer on her club mates. Mia will ask questions, practice hard and make sure it is right! She has performed not only in all BJP endorsed competitions but also ribbon comps, displays days, club days, Easter Shows, flash mobs, opening ceremonies, fete displays and workshops. Mia - congratulations on an outstanding time at BWU so far - we cannot wait to watch what you achieve in the future, particularly as you join the 2021 Teaching Team!
