However, I had made the decision to do so last night. ... This is bigger than us and we need to work together. I saw a meme this morning "you're safe at home, not stuck at home". I love this so much. 22.01.2022 It's business as usual @byerinmassage_tanning I have however, taken a bit of a COVID-19 audit. The energy is so charged at the moment I want to put all my clients minds at ease where I can. The gate & studio door will stay open during my shift eliminating touching. Unfortunately no cuddles from JoJo during this time ... The handle of the door from office to treatment room will be sanitsed after each and every client. The hot rock stand will now be a designated "put yr keys and sunnies spot" that will be sanitised after every client. The treatment table is sanitsed completely after every client of course. The only modification to actual bodywork is, I won't be doing any supine (face up) work. All treatments will be lying face down until this crazy period is behind us. And of course a potent cocktail of antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and immune boosting essential oils in the diffusers and massage oil. 22.01.2022 What an emotional roller coaster we're all on! I know the first week or so my focus was on supporting my immune system (and of course washing my hands ). However after sporadically waking at 3 am with sky high anxiety I've realised mental health during this time needs to be checked in on daily. Alison Filihia - Kinesiologist post really resonated with me. While day to day I feel safe, there's a global fear and anxiety that we're all feeling. And of course keeping our family... safe and happy and hoping our loved ones that aren't in our bubble are safe too can be overwhelming at times. I've had many EFT sessions with Alison and have been tapping away at 3 am with relief to feel the fear and anxiety leave my body. This is a great idea and learning EFT is so empowering.
