16.01.2022 Profile for Chairperson of Pcahelp: Ken Bezant, Senior Partner of Bezant Consulting, is a multi-award winning building designer, sustainability consultant and educator. In 2013 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent a radical prostatectomy. Kens cancer was first detected by his GP via a regular PSA blood test. In 2014 he took on the role of group leader of Western Suburbs Prostate Cancer Support Group in an effort to give back to an organisation which helped him... through a difficult time. Since then he has provided support and advice to men and their families affected by prostate cancer. In 2018 he founded what was to become the Prostate Cancer Help Association Inc. (PCaHELP), a WA not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers to help raise awareness of prostate cancer and to help promote, educate, mentor and inform prostate cancer support groups. Ken currently serves as Chairperson of PCaHELP. He lives in Duncraig with his beautiful wife Nola, has one son and two amazing grandchildren and is an avid beginner cyclist. His prostate cancer is in remission. Kens aim is to make more men aware that prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in Australia and to convince men to take control of their health and seek early detection to help reduce the death rate from the current 3,500 per year.

The effortless and smooth diesel wi...th its 7.2 litres /100 km economy and worthwhile 400+ Nm torque makes one wonder why you would opt for the more expensive and less fuel efficient CX9. Perhaps width and length is your game but if you put both CX8 and CX9 side by side its hard to tell the difference. The CX8 is essentially a stretched CX5 with 7 seat capability and with oodles of space inside that would make it an ideal long distance hauler with great range in the fuel tank. This variant was no stripper model either as the GT has everything you need from plush leather, real wood verneer to soft touch leather gear knob and steering wheel that leaves my Porsche Macan seem somewhat Spartan. The infotainment is good and the Bose sound system rivalling Harmon Kardon systems found in BMW SUVs. Switchgear is top notch though the indicator stalk could do with a little more solid feel since everything in this vehicle screams European quality. There are even seat warmers for the front AND rear seats and separate air con controls.... The more I write and the more I drive a trade in seems likely! Highly recommended not only for that family haulage around town it is also an impressive tourer which farming families will enjoy. Thanks to Gabe and Anthony at Bayswater Mazda for this opportunity.
