25.01.2022 Forecast of rain for Tuesday but Playgroup will still be on! Plenty of arts, crafts, toys, games and indoor activities to keep the kids entertained. Come have a coffee and a chat with other adults while the kids get some much needed socialisation time. 10am - midday at the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Main and Clare Streets.

21.01.2022 HADSPEN PLAYGROUP is in desperate need of parents and children coming along on a TUESDAY between 10am and 12 noon to keep it going. Lots of great equipment and... a warm environment with a chance to catch up with other parents while the littlies socialise and have fun. It is in real danger of closing without support. The child health nurse has also mentioned she can be available from time to time to speak with parents. It probably needs a group of parents to form a small committee (with the help of Playgroup Tas) to keep it going. I am happy to help with funds for a morning tea or sausage sizzle to get things started if someone wants to organise something. See more

21.01.2022 If any one is interested, I make craft and playdough packs, for busy parents who need something on hand to keep imaginations active and off those screens! These are just two samples.

20.01.2022 Some important information to ensure we keep everybody safe when we resume on Tuesday. - It is vital that you sign in as soon as you arrive. There will be wipes to clean the pen after each use. - Please remember good hygiene with appropriate hand washing throughout the morning. - It is incredibly important if anyone in your home is unwell that you do not attend Playgroup and visit your Doctor.... - We understand it is important to chat and connect with one another at Playgroup. Please remember physical distancing (1.5 apart) when doing so. - Please no food/drink sharing. - Please check in here Playgroup for latest updates. The weather forecast is looking good but we have an indoor capacity of up to 36 people so plenty of room for everyone if the skies are against us.

19.01.2022 Play group was lovely last week. So relaxing, the children were engaged in art and craft and the always popular sensory tray, this time dinosaurs added to the mix. We had new friends come and join in the fun. Next week.... Slime play, Water play, Goop.,... Definitely old clothes and bring spares. Please remember to bring a hat for your self and Children! That sun is hot in the play group area, with our limited shade.

15.01.2022 What a beautiful day we all had at play group. A relaxed atmosphere with children interacting with one another, their parents and new people. Just a reminder that hats will be essential from now on as that sun is hot and precious skin gets burnt very quickly regardless of sun or no sun. We are aiming to get shade set up for the future but in the mean time hats, sunscreen and tops with sleeves.... Next week... Car wash! I'll supply big sponges, buckets of soapy water, cloths... If parents can supply changes if clothes! Can't wait for another excellent day.

07.01.2022 Play group is on next week! Come if you like, we will be there. Just remember if your older children are coming, they are most welcome, but this play groups equipment is for five and under and all care must be taken to look after our younger Children. Thanks.

07.01.2022 Fun at play group this morning with playdough and shapes, play dough in the ocean theme, dancing, trampoline and the big slide. We read stories and built a train track. We meet a new baby member, who is absolutely adorable!

06.01.2022 Thank you everyone for coming to the morning tea for Children’s week. It was lovely to see everyone chatting and the children mixing in together playing and then having the yummy food.

05.01.2022 Not many at play group this week, but we had a great time, using all the equipment and indulged in hot chocolates to keep us warm.

05.01.2022 It looks like we're in for a VERY cold Tuesday but playgroup will still be on, even with the forecast of SNOW!!!! :o Plenty of indoor games, toys and craft in a nice, warm environment, so brave the cold for a few short moments and come join us!

04.01.2022 The weather was wet but inside was fun, the weather cleared and the bikes were fun. A lovely morning today, playing and interacting with each other. The weather did clear and we all got to go outside on the bikes for 30min, love this spring weather. Tody we had the big slide, rock and roll bike thing, trampoline and climbing slide cube. We had play dough and sensory tubs for exploration. Everyone was occupied and content. Thanks for a great time.

02.01.2022 Hello everyone! It's looking like playgroup will return to Hadspen on Tuesday the 21st of July at 10am. There will unfortunately be a few restrictions on what we can and can't do due to Covid but nothing too serious. With that in mind we would appreciate everyone intending to come to let us know as soon as you can so we can ensure memberships are up to date and all the other requirements are met.
