05.01.2022 A new adult measles vaccination program has been announced for Western Australians born during or after 1966 who have not already received two doses of a measles-containing vaccine. Of the 36 infections last year, nearly 73% occurred among people aged 20 to 49 years of age. so far, 16 cases have been reported in 2019. Serology testing is not recommended for people who are not sure if they have had two doses. All vaccinations, including this program, should be recorded on your... clinic records and also on the Australian Immunisation Register. Eligible adults can receive this vaccine from your GP.
