25.01.2022 Yes we remain open. To comply with current government guidelines Byford Laundromat is to be limited to no more then 10 people inside. To ensure everyones safety and to help us with these restrictions please: 1. One person per family at a time inside... 2. Sort / fold your laundry at home 3. Wait outside whilst your laundry is in the machines We have additional signage on the entry doors, inside the laundromat and also information on the advertising screens.

25.01.2022 To ensure you have a great experience each time you visit we proactively undertake regular maintenance on the equipment - a lot you dont see. Whilst other locations will have constant drain issues this proves our locations run the best systems in Perth. We even caught a spoon that was able to make its way out of the machine! Also mums rule applies - check your pockets so you are not donating to the washing lady

23.01.2022 Did you see the elf? Byford Laundromat will remain open over the holiday season every day from 6AM to 9PM. Detergent and softener is always included free and with an express 24 minute wash cycle on all your washing machines you will be back to your holiday season in no time. 22.01.2022 We are open all long weekend - opening at 6AM and closing at 9PM. During wet weather we do experience higher demand for the equipment - especially the dryers. Please be aware of fellow customers that may be waiting to use them by promptly removing your items once they are finished.

21.01.2022 We are excited the free charging station is getting used. Whilst we do our best with our proactive maintenance programme - if you do see any damage please let us know. We repaired this station today - you now have a full compliment again of charging cables to suit most devices

14.01.2022 The road upgrades are requiring ongoing detours on Abernethy Road. There are detours signed to find your way to Byford Laundromat - we look forward to the completion of these upgrades towards the end of 2019.

13.01.2022 Just like personnel exercise all dryers have a cool down period (no heat) at the end of the cycle to remove excessive heat from the clothes before folding. Our set time is among the lowest in the industry so you get maximum value from your money! To reduce waiting it is important to add additional time you require before the final 2 minutes. At any time during the cycle the door can be opened to check and extra money can be added - dont forget to press the START button to add the time to your dryer pocket! As a reminder an average dryer load would be $4-$5 (28-35 minutes) depending on the fabrics. There is no need to run our dryers for 90+ minutes.

11.01.2022 The animal garment washing machine is currently out of service. As a reminder if you do use another washing machine can you please call us on 0447 023 400 whilst you are still at the laundromat so we can start a rinse on the machine remotely when you are done.

10.01.2022 Some great changes are coming to Byford Laundromat over the next few weeks. In preparation we have improved our WiFi system which you will notice some changes when you connect. Once connected, you will be prompted via a website for the guest password (which is on the screen inside the laundromat). This continues to be a free service provided to our customers. Simply enter the password to connect - simple!

07.01.2022 The cooler weather is coming - this will bring as we saw last week a significant increase in dryer usage. To ensure fair use please ensure you promptly remove your drying. Most dryer cycles can be completed 28-35 minutes - you dont need to run a cycle for 90 minutes like you would on a home dryer. We have 30 dryers located across our network with other locations at Forrestdale Laundromat and South Perth Laundromat.... 06.01.2022 Thank you for following social distancing. We are in the process of updating our signage in the next few days and trust you will continue to practice the latest published guidelines.

06.01.2022 We have sought guidance from the Small Business Development Corporation WA in relation to the governments announcement overnight of social gatherings being reduced to 2. There is currently no "essential service" business list and as such Byford Laundromat is still operating within current guidelines. We require ALL customers to continue to follow the published social distancing guidelines and adhere to the maximum people inside as noted on our entry doors. Whilst personnel hygiene is well published it is also strongly recommended clothes are washed daily. As this is a frequent question being received we have requested they consider this in future community messaging.

05.01.2022 The weekend rain forecast is jumping around a bit - however it appears to be wet and heavy for a few days. Avoid the peak usage times and be sure to take advantage of our long opening hours - 6AM to 9PM. More customers daily are using the DexterPay mobile application to pay for their laundry (instead of using coins / tokens). Try it today!
