23.01.2022 Don’t forget that Youth Group will be on again tomorrow at 3:00 at the Baptist church. Last session we talked about who Jesus is and why he is still a big deal 2000 years after he was born, THIS week we’ll ask the big question why on earth did he have to die? Come and hang out, have some fun, wrestle with some big ideas for a bit and enjoy some individually packaged snacks! 21.01.2022 Hi everyone it was great to catch up with some of you last week, so this week we have come up with a way of following the government guidelines of only having 10 people inside the hall but at the same time making sure that everyone that wants to come along gets to come along in a safe way. If more that 10 people come tonight we will break into 2 supervised groups in either the front or back hall or the manse in Nasmyth st and then join up outside where we can have more people for a bbq and talk. Make sure you bring some warm clothing along and remember to continue practicing social distancing and good hand hygiene. Thanks Gary & John

15.01.2022 In these difficult times with everybody telling us what to think and say or telling us what we shouldn’t think or say, what does the bible have to say about the topic of injustice, how should we respond to the injustice that we see happening to others or even ourselves and what about when we are the ones carrying out the injustice. 14.01.2022 Hi all, just letting you know that we're going to be having a short break from Youth Group (probably just for a couple of weeks) while we make some changes in the way we are running things. It's a crazy world at the moment and we want to make sure that we are doing our utmost to be creating a space which is safe for people to come and hang out and have fun while looking at some of life's bigger questions about God and living! This will probably involve a new time and a slightly different format, so stay tuned and we'll keep you posted when things are up and running again! Thanks all!

Kycking off tonight from 6.30pm until 8pm at the Baptist church (76 Nasmyth st) we will be exploring the idea of passing or not passing things on which has been an especially important message for us to understand during the last few months during lockdown for covid 19. 02.01.2022 10,000 High-Schoolers Served by KYCK Live Event With the closure of churches across the nation leaving many Christian youth starved of encouragement and fellows...hip during COVID-19, the KYCK team came together to remind youth that even in social distancing, believers remain united in Christ. Viewers tuned in from as far and wide as Western Australia, Tasmania, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, The United States and The United Kingdom. For many of our delegates, KYCK Live was a timely event that provided much-needed encouragement and fellowship: The connectivity you created last night for so many kids feeling disconnected right now was such a blessing! 01.01.2022 We’re back! ... but with a few changes. The biggest change is that we will no longer be meeting on Friday nights, but instead will be getting together at the church on Sunday afternoons, from 3:00-5:00pm, starting tomorrow (16th August). Tomorrow’s get-together will just be a casual (covid-safe) hang out, so feel free to come and hang with us and have some fun and a bit of a chat. Thanks, Mark
