24.01.2022 FARM FRESH PRODUCE!!!! Our community has been calling out for fresh fruit and vegetables at the market, and local farmers Tobellie Hill Produce will be there fo...r you on Sunday! You might remember this beautiful family from last year. They knew people were craving farm fresh food at the markets, and they committed themselves to bring their delicious produce into town on a regular basis. Sadly, Tobellie Hill Produce has been devastated by both drought and fire recently. This Sunday, we ask that you throw away the recipe book and cook up whatever they are serving. Let’s show them the same kind of love and support they have shown us for so long We will also be running a raffle to support them, with lots of prizes from local small businesses. So grab some veggies, add a few raffle tickets and share some of that Queanbeyan love with people who need it most The Queanbeyan Market THIS SUNDAY 9am to 1pm Lowe St Town Park

23.01.2022 Another project finished, been working on it at Tuesday night workshops with Rachael at Groovy Glass. Pretty pleased with the result. Pattern purchased in support of the bushfire appeal earlier in the year

21.01.2022 CALLING ALL FOODIES!! Do you know someone who makes the best beef jerky going around? A mate who has found the perfect blend for sauces and condiments? A little... business whipping up veggie chips so more-ish you just can’t get enough? We are on the hunt for even more local producers to join the market fun - gourmet food products, artisan goodies and small batch EVERYTHING! If you’re selling good, regional food... we want to meet you Shoot us a message or contact Kylie via [email protected]

20.01.2022 PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE It costs nothing to like and share - but it does make a massive difference Please help us spread this message as far and wide as poss...ible. Doing it for our Farmers The Queanbeyan Market is supporting our community in raising awareness and supplies for local farmers who are experiencing tough times in this drought, fire and Hail. They need a break - many are breaking down themselves. A lot of farming families are going without the daily necessities to redirect the money into hand feeding their livestock. The Queanbeyan Market is donating half the stall fees to Brindabella Stock Feed for the animals, and also acting as a donation point collecting essentials for farmers and their families. The Queanbeyan Market is a drop off point on 16th February from 9am-1pm. We are seeking donation of non-perishable foods and toiletries to be distributed out to our local farming families. Cannot donate? That’s okay! Simply by liking this post, sharing and adding friends to the Queanbeyan Market page you’re already helping get the word out. Sunday 16th February Lowe St Queanbeyan 9am-1pm

14.01.2022 As most markets are closed I thought I would post some of my creations. These earrings are studs made from stunning dichroic glass. They are $10 each so if you need a little gift or something for yourself get in touch. I can do local delivery in the Queanbeyan area or happy to meet up in a reasonable location.

09.01.2022 This weekend’s creation, for the ‘Snug’

09.01.2022 With these unusual times we all need to be patient and flexible. As expected most of the markets I have signed up for have been cancelled except for Queanbeyan. They are assessing the situation at the moment. If anyone would like candle refills or to purchase jewellery or cards I am happy to help. PM me first and we can work through how best to arrange it. Stay safe everyone.

09.01.2022 It’s sad the Hall market isn’t happening. If case numbers keep dropping I will be at Queanbeyan this month.

07.01.2022 For those of you who regularly come along to my annual charity open house to buy Christmas presents, I would like your advice. I am fast running out of time to fit this day in due to various things happening on the run up to Christmas. I would still like to do it and the only day free for me is Sunday 8 November. Would this work for you? If it is I’ll get an event set up asap. Please comment below to help me make a decision. Thank you
