Open Garden workshop is on Saturday 30 October, see more details on our website. https://www.byroncollege.org.au/course/OpenGarden

24.01.2022 Finishing touches - Day 2 of the Permablitz and the new compost bays and herb signage is being completed.

22.01.2022 Visit a thriving urban food garden Heather currently lives on a very small, urban, block in the heart of Mullumbimby. This latest garden of hers is still young, but her system of continuous polyculture already provides nearly all the organic veg for her family all year round, as well as allowing her to harvest berries and fruit from over a dozen trees. She integrates her small flock of chooks and ducks into her garden as part of an entire, holistic, food-producing, eco-system. Book your spot online today: https://www.byroncollege.org.au/course/OpenGarden

09.01.2022 Many hands make light work. When the shed needed to be moved it was all hands on deck to make the move rather than dismantle it.

04.01.2022 Farewell to Lance. Where to start as we celebrate Lance and his wonderful 10 year contribution to the College? In the words of one of our tutors..."Lance is the fairy godfather of the College." Lance who is retiring on Wednesday is one of the first team member many students may meet when they come to the College. He has touched the lives of so many, as many will attest in our community and has been a profound influence in helping students complete studies, overcome challeng...es and achieve dreams. His unfailing willingness to provide support and solve problems with a smile and a chat will leave a lasting legacy on us all. Go well Lance, keep smiling and enjoy your very well deserved retirement. You will be missed! "Lance is a true gem and will be sorely missed." "Lance always has a smile." "When technically challenged, emotionally overwhelmed or in a flurry of distress, I have always benefited from Lance's measured and assured demeanor." See more
