21.01.2022 Important AMENDED Announcement To all our dear parishioners and supporters. Our prayers have been answered!... We will be celebrating Liturgy THIS Sunday at St. Anthony Church and we will also be blessed with the presence of His Grace Bishop Silouan of Sinope. We look forward to seeing you all there. (capacity restrictions apply) Please note, (as per normal) we will also be streaming all our services in glorious high-resolution audio and video. (on Facebook and YouTube) The previous restrictions have now changed back to what they were previous to the recent lockdown but with some amendments the restrictions are now: - 1 person per 4 sqm - a maximum of 100 persons for Church services - Weddings will allow for 100 people - Funerals will allow for 50 people - All Religious ceremonies restricted to 100 - Private gatherings restricted to 50 people - Our Greek Schools will also return back to normal from next week As stated previously, Father Nicholas has urged us all to still take time at home to pray for our Community and ensure you encourage peaceful thoughts especially when you are talking to others in this way, we are practising what Our Lord Jesus Christ preaches to us. We still need to remain patient, prayerful and understanding allowing us to get through the Covid-19 period of uncertainty. We will of course keep you all updated if there are any further announcements. As announced recently by our State Government in relation to Covid-19 restrictions and in accordance with the directives of our Holy Archdiocese, we wish to inform you that all Church services (including this Sunday’s Liturgy), Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals, Memorials and Greek School classes will be cancelled for the next 6 days, beginning today (Thursday 19th of Nov.) this is pending any further announcem...ents by our State Govt. Father Nicholas has urged us all to take time at home to pray for our Community and ensure you encourage peaceful thoughts especially when you are talking to others in this way, we are practising what Our Lord Jesus Christ preaches to us. After service there will be a Luncheon held in our Community Centre to honour our wonderful Father Nicholas who we all LOVE! We are hoping that our parishioners will stay back and enjoy a delicious luncheon in a beautiful family atmosphere with Father Nicholas.... Covid-19 restrictions apply of course on the number of attendees. At the end of the luncheon there will a Tray of Love handed around where if you want, you can make a small donation to our Church to assist with the food & beverage costs for the luncheon as always, no pressure.
