24.01.2022 AUDITIONS INFORMATION!! BYTESized's Alladin JR. auditions bookings will open on January 1, so get prepared by reading the information below: This is a junior production and all auditionees must be at least 8 years old at audition and 18 or younger at performance. ... Auditions will be held February 1 and 2. Groups of up to 8 will audition together in one 30 minute session. Each auditionee will need to prepare an age appropriate song from musical theatre/Disney but NOT a song from Aladdin. Please bring a backing track (no vocals) on USB, CD or phone with auxillary connection/bluetooth. Please make sure the track is downloaded. Do not rely on an internet connection to play. No acapella auditions will be allowed. Auditionees may be asked to partake in a ‘cold read’ of a short scene from the show. Copies of scripts will be available in audition waiting room for auditionees to read through prior to their audition time. A separate dance audition will be held Sunday 4pm to 5pm for those who wish to be considered for additional dance roles. Dancers must also take part in a group audition. Please make sure you can commit to this rehearsal schedule from 16th February 8th May: Monday nights and Friday nights 5:30pm-8pm and Sundays 1-5pm with full day rehearsals from 10am-6pm closer to performance dates. (No rehearsal on Easter Sunday 11th April however rehearsals will be held on Good Friday and through the term 1 school holidays.) Show dates Friday May 15 including a Schools Show at 11am, and two shows on Saturday May 16. There will be extra evening reharsals in the week leading up to the show. 24.01.2022 Hey BYTESizers, Livid Productions Inc "Spamalot" opens tonight at Albury Entertainment Centre and there are two reasons you should go and see it. First is that it is a hilarious musical comedy suitable for all ages, and second is that it features heaps of previous BYTESized cast, including many of our main cast and ensemble - and even the Director!! from Camp Rock the Musical and other BYTESized shows, and even our current Choreographer too! BOOK NOW!!

23.01.2022 As you have probably guessed, along with so many other fabulous local shows, BYTESized Productions has had to postpone our May performances of Disney Aladdin JR at the Albury Entertainment Centre due to COVID-19. We are gutted by having to do this, mostly because we have such a fabulous hard working cast that were putting everything they had into rehearsals, but it is a necessary action in these circumstances. However, all is not lost just yet. We are hopeful of putting on ...the show later in the year but as yet can't confirm the dates. We are also on the lookout for a new rehearsal venue as our current space at a local school is, understandably, unable to confirm availability if we were able to swing back into action in a few months time. For those fabulous people who had already purchased tickets, the Albury Entertainment Centre will contact you with options over the next few days. Chookas everyone.

09.01.2022 We are very sad to have to announce that, like so many other great shows in the region, BYTESized's 2020 production of Aladdin Jr at the Albury Entertainment Centre is cancelled. The Entertainment Centre will contact all ticket holders. We are absolutely gutted by this, but we are so proud of the 50 talented and dedicated cast who put so much work into those few weeks of rehearsals back in March. We would also like to thank the support teams of all the cast, and the whole ...production team especially Jeremy, Claire, Cait and Merryn for your dedication and creative genius. It would have been a fabulous show. We are unlikely to be in a position to stage Aladdin in 2021 but we will wait to see what the new year brings us - hopefully a virus free world in which we can get together to once more sing, dance and entertain our fabulous audiences.
