20.01.2022 GOOSEBERRY JAM we are SO excited to have just made our first ever jam from our harvest of cape gooseberries picked from our very own garden! Look at the pics from start to finish (you’ll also see some photos of Luke saving seed ),& see the end result of the jam! I would love to know what you’d think & once we have a heap more if you’d like to purchase a jar! Just to add I’m lovingggg my Thermomix who else has one of these babies & uses it everyday?... I told my good friend who got me onto the thermo that it’s saved my life (& possibly my marriage ) I am one to always burn EVERYTHING but now that’s not even possible! I’m so glad I decided to go ahead and purchase one! So much goodness to be made from our fruit & vegetables that we grow I can’t wait! Jackfruit contains moderate levels of vitamin C, an antioxidant which helps your #body fight free radicals and protects you from colds and other illnesses.... 2. Improve your digestion. Jackfruit is packed with fiber, which helps improve digestion and prevent constipation. 3. May help prevent #cancer. Jackfruit contains phytonutrients, such as lignans, isoflavones, and saponins, which have anti-cancer properties. It also contains many carotenoids, which have been found to help protect against cancer. 4. Boost your energy levels. Jackfruit has B vitamins, particularly vitamin B6.
