16.01.2022 Good evening all. There is a Rockhampton Cricket Inc Meeting on Tuesday night where a number of decisions will be confirmed. One is the start date for Junior Cricket. At this stage, it is likely to be the weekend of the 10/11 October. If your child/ren are intending to play this season and to help with organisation of teams, can you please have them registered in the correct age group (U11, U13 or U16) by Wednesday 30th September. This will allow enough time to allocate ...players and coaches to teams. If your child/ren are NOT intending to play this season, can you please let me know ([email protected]). 16.01.2022 JUNIOR TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT Hi everyone. Junior training will start this Thursday for U11 and U13 players at Victoria Park nets and fields. Due to COVID restrictions, players are not allowed to borrow gear from another player. All players must have their own bat, gloves, pads, protector and helmet. Hand sanitizer will be available to use at training sessions and balls will be wiped down at the end of each training session. Parents who are acting as coaches are allowed i...nside the training facility. Parents who are spectators, can you please wait outside the fence until more information is sought regarding this. Thanks for your understanding. It is also vital that your child be registered before attending training as this covers them if an injury occurs. Please make sure that this happens. It will also make our jobs easier to make teams before the school holidays so that upon returning, we will have teams ready to go when cricket is ready to start. Thanks. Murray. President See more
15.01.2022 Here is something a lot of people may have never seen at a game of cricket! In today's u13 clash on Kalka 4, Frenchville's Danny Griffiths snared a hatrick against Brothers Blue. In return, Brother's Heidi Swaffer-Selff snared a hatrick as well! Also this afternoon, young Charlie Taylor (Brothers White U11) grabbed himself a hatrick as well against Brothers Blue U11. Well done! ... 3 hatricks in a day! I haven't seen that before. Well done kids!

This is a post asking for any parents who wish to help out the Junior teams as a coach, assistant coach, umpire, scorer, helper, etc. We have many jobs available across the Junior section of the club. The more help we get, the easier it will be for your son/daughter to get out there and play cricket. Depending on registrations, we will possibly need 2 x u11 coaches and 2 x u13 coaches. Your training is every Tuesday and Thursday (starting this Thursday) and will be at the newly built TCC nets on Elizabeth St, Allenstown. If you are interested in playing U16s, please turn up to this training and talk to Geoff Joyce (Coach). It is also important for your child to be registered before this first training as it covers them in case of injury and helps us, as a cl...ub, to sort teams before the season starts.
