04.01.2022 Cable8 are proud to be doing our part during the COVID-19 Pandemic in a recent expansion of the SCGH ED Ward which was prioritised as part of an accelerated remodelling program to meet the needs of COVID-19 patients which were anticipated coming to the hospital. Thankfully, there isn’t many COVID patients presenting to the ward due to all the good work Western Australians have done implementing the measures put into place by the Australian Government. . . Having a large nega...tive pressure (isolation) room is a plus for the hospital staff which allows them to safely resuscitate patients with COVID or other potential infectious diseases that would potentially pose a risk to staff. . . The project involved working closely with builders, engineers, architects and the hospital staff negotiating our way around a live hospital environment during the course of the fast paced, short time frame project. . .
