25.01.2022 Saturday 14th November the NOVICE TRAP is open from 10am - 12noon only. With a few group bookings this Saturday the opening times for the novice trap have a bit of a change. Novice trap is open from 10am and will close at 12 noon. 5 stand, trap and Skeet all open as usual for licensed shooters.

14.01.2022 DTL Coaching Clinic 2021 February 6 & 7, 2021 The Caboolture Clay Target Club QCTA coaching clinic is ideal for new and novice shooters just starting out, or for higher grade shooters who need to correct a problem or just get back to basics.... The QCTA - Queensland Clay Target Association State coaching team of Richard Morrison, Daryl Stevens and Bill Allan will be available to help you across a range of issues including: Gun fit and mount Pattern board Stance Optics; and Practical skills All shooters will receive one on one coaching throughout the course of the weekend sessions. The clinic will run all day Saturday from 8.00AM with competition coaching early Sunday prior to the monthly DTL Competition. The clinic has limited numbers available. Cost is $30 per shooter to all current ACTA Members. Due to the popularity of this event it is advised that early bookings are essential. Bookings can be made by contacting Dave Milton on 0413 300 946. Payment will be required at time of booking to secure your position.

10.01.2022 Brisbane Gun Club held a 120T ‘Champion of Champions’ event today with 14 squads out to shoot the medley. A number of CCTC shooters in attendance today. Paul Roos, Kirsten Kopittke & Dave Reeves were all in the money with Paul placing 1st in AA 190/200. Kirsten taking out ladies high gun with 166/200 & Dave placing 3rd in C grade with 170/200. Thanks for a great day out BGC!

07.01.2022 Thank you to those who attended the DTL Christmas shoot on Sunday. Hot sunny conditions & lots of festive cheer! Dave & Andy worked with My Club My Scores all day (for the first time) & the new 85 telly displayed the squads & leaderboard perfectly.. who said you can’t teach old dogs new tricks Hams, bickies, chocolates & Christmas wreaths rounded out the prize pool. And there was a fancy bottle of Cab Sav up for grabs with the raffle.... Merry Christmas
