16.01.2022 To all parents of athletes competing at states. We are still going ahead today ! With the expected rain forecast through the event, we recommend bringing a spare set of clothes in case they have competed in the wet. It is also recommended athletes bring spare socks and a warm jumper.... Please make sure all athletes have their numbers with them and all coles and age patches are on their uniforms. 15.01.2022 We have lots of chocolate lovers in our club. Due to this fundraiser been very popular we will be ordering a few more boxes. If you would like to take a box and support our first fundraiser please message our page. We will be picking up more this afternoon . We have had lots of phone calls and messages asking where there athletes results are. Please you will need to go back to your club for these. Im sure results will be out soon. Well done to all athletes who competed with there team mates and thank you to the athletes who stepped up and filled in so the team could run... 05.01.2022 UPDATED MCDONALD’S ACHIEVEMENT LEVELS LAQ have recently released the updated McDonald’s Achievement levels for the 2020/21 season. The McDonald’s achievement levels are calculated from the averages of performances attained by Little Athletics Queensland athletes over the years. Anyone achieving a Green level, which is within the reach of 100% of children with a little application, has achieved a good level of performance. A Red level represents a very good performance, but ...still achievable by about 65% of children. A Blue level represents an excellent performance achievable by about 20% of Little Athletes. Levels for each age group and all events are detailed on the pink (Girls) or blue (Boys) Achievement Cards (see below). To receive a McDonald’s Achievement Award Certificate, an athlete must reach the relevant level in all events applicable to their age group in three event groups. For example an U13 athlete would be awarded a Green level certificate if they were to equal or better the Green level times and distances in (1) Hurdles: 60m Hurdles and 200m Hurdles, (2) Sprints: 70m, 100m, and 200m and in (3) Throws: Discus, Javelin and Shot Put. Any event group combination can be used to meet the criteria, as long as the levels in three event groups are attained. Age groups have a varied requirement for the number of Event Groups to achieve an award; these are; two (2) groups for U6’s; two (2) for U7’s; three (3) groups for U8’s and three (3) groups for U9-U17’s. We will be handing out McDonald certificates to qualifying athletes over the coming weeks, so keep striving for those PB’s! See more

03.01.2022 It's that time of year!! REGIONAL RELAY INFORMATION... 7th November @ Caboolture Little Athletics (Our Club is host)... Nominations will open this Friday night and close 16th October. Teams are put together by the committee only and are based on this season's results. If you have athletes wanting to compete in particular in the run events, please ensure they are available to compete during our centre competition to have a recorded time.
