21.01.2022 I love working with people who are passionate about what they do. While Ive only met a handful of local businesses, the talent and enthusiasm in the Illawarra blows me away! Heres one I put together for the team at Natural Habitat Landscapes to showcase their design and landscaping at St Lukes Preschool in Dapto

20.01.2022 Another YUGE week here at Cade Digital! In the last 7 days, I've filmed and photographed everything from dancing to landscaping [and everything in between] I love being able to help such a diverse range of people and businesses ... Cc: Poplar Petfood & Produce, Stars of Eurobodalla Dance For Cancer, Natural Habitat Landscapes, Coolangatta Estate

20.01.2022 Ive been working hard with Community Gateway over the past few months to create a website that is informative, easy to navigate and respectfully represents their organisation and people. Im proud to announce that it is finally LIVE! An effective website gives marketers the opportunity to track the success of Social campaigns as well as measure performance on an ongoing basis.

20.01.2022 Last year, I was lucky enough to be named a Finalist at the Local Business Awards. Its been a HUGE year for Cade Digital and Id love to get back to the Awards again this year! If you have a spare minute, please send a vote our way

19.01.2022 A few weeks ago, Community Gateway challenged their staff to participate in the latest iso craze, #BinNight. I wanted to get involved so shot a few clips of Barney on my phone and put this video together for a bit of a laugh. Im happy to report that weve gone viral since sharing it publicly Currently at 11K Likes with fans in Switzerland and beyond Barney is staying humble and true to his roots (but, admittedly did enjoy some extra treats over the weekend)

18.01.2022 On Friday, Mark Zuckerberg shared his weekly all-staff town hall publicly, outlining Facebooks plans for remote-work. Here are some of the reasons he thinks that these plans could bring positive change to their workforce and to the world: Access to new talent pools - Facebook can recruit more broadly if they are not constrained by geography. ... Retaining talent often, staff who leave cite Facebook doesnt have an office where Im going as the reason. Remote work options would solve this. Improving diversity Limiting new hires to people who live in a big city limits the amount of people who could bring new value and perspectives. Spreading economic opportunity It isnt sustainable for people who have a job at Facebook to need to move to a big city. Zuckerberg wants people to have access to opportunity, no matter where they live. Environmental effects Levels of emissions have reduced during the Covid-19 pandemic. Its a benefit for everyone if people arent sitting in traffic emitting carbon etc. This could serve long-term issues for the environment while Facebook staff teleport using augmented and virtual reality. What are your experiences with remote work? Do you agree with Zuckerbergs future of work at Facebook? For me, remote work is essential, but I cant help but miss those watercooler moments that can only happen in a shared working environment.

17.01.2022 Working with innovative businesses like Poplar Petfood & Produce makes my job a dream These guys are a prime example of pivoting in an era of unprecedented change. Instead of caving under the new restrictions, they have adapted and found new ways of doing things, all while leaning on their strengths Heres to the silver linings that this pandemic is creating. Despite all of its negatives, Im looking forward to seeing the new ways of working and growth that it creates

17.01.2022 On the tools at Coolangatta Estate

16.01.2022 We made it! Josh and I just wrapped up a HUGE 3 days with Aaron Sansoni and his team (Kerry Fitzgibbon - Social Media for Business, Jarrod Carman - Agent of Change, Jamie Totino) along with 250 other business owners in Melbourne. The 7am starts and 2am finishes certainly tested our limits but weve left with more ideas and knowledge than we could have ever imagined I cant wait to get stuck in and implement some of the new technology, marketing and time management techniques to deliver an even better experience for my clients! (Thought Id spare you another horrific Facebook Live and stick with a photo )

14.01.2022 Sunday spent road tripping to Port Macquarie with Community Gateway (first stop Heatherbraes Pies) Looking forward to the next few days spent capturing stories and content with the team!

13.01.2022 Happy with how this little clip came together for the legends at Coolangatta Estate Big shout out to Ash Boland for stepping in to film the recent harvest and doing a stellar job!

13.01.2022 WHO RUN THE WORLD?! Yesterday, I spent some e-time with a few of the killer women from Connected Digital (can you tell Im excited to finally be working with them?) Weve got some exciting things in the pipeline, so stay tuned!

13.01.2022 Just showing off one of Natural Habitat Landscapes amazing creations

11.01.2022 Not letting this isolation business stop me from creating good looking (and delicious) content Keep an eye on Coolangatta Estate, theyve got some exciting things coming!

11.01.2022 Were officially half way through 2020! In the days leading up to EOFY, I found myself with a serious case of brain fog. I was making silly mistakes, forgetting things on my to-do list and just being a bit of a dorris. I started to get sidetracked by these negatives and had a case of imposter syndrome that just wouldnt quit. On Wednesday, I was surprised with this stunning bouquet of flowers (a gift from a very kind client!). This little act of kindness and appreciation com...pletely turned my week around. As a freelancer who spends a big chunk of time working solo, its so important to practice positive self talk and gratitude. Why did it take someone else expressing appreciation for me to see it myself? When I sat back and thought about it, the last 12 months have been the biggest ever for Cade Digital! Ive worked with over 20 clients (both locally and globally), generated thousands of dollars of revenue through Social Media Advertising and edited days worth of footage to tell their stories. Heres to the power of positivity and taking more time to reflect on the great stuff we do.

09.01.2022 Looking forward to a weekend full of learning with Aaron Sansoni. Keen to bring back some new skills and processes to make my clients experience even better! #AaronSansoni

09.01.2022 Always a tough day shooting with Poplar Petfood & Produce

07.01.2022 In the eyes of the law, brands/media publications who maintain and encourage comments on Facebook Pages by users are the "publishers" of those comments. So, if someone posts a negative or potentially defamatory comment on one of your Page Posts, you could be held liable. Read this article and let me know what you think of the ruling in Dylan Vollers case Fair or not?

07.01.2022 In the whirlwind that was Christmas and New Year, I didnt have a chance to put together a Highlights Video of 2019. Ive finally taken some time to reflect on what a huge year this was for Cade Digital and am feeling pretty chuffed! Take a miniute to enjoy just a few of the highlights... and strap yourself in because 2020 is going to be even bigger!

06.01.2022 It was so great to get back into the swing of things last week with a little shoot in Poplar Petfood & Produce redesigned space

06.01.2022 Earlier today, I tuned into SEMrush Global Marketing Days webinar, . One of the key takeaways for me was the importance of storytelling when it comes to producing content. Did you know that chemicals such as dopamine, cortisol and oxytocin are released when were told a story? These chemicals keep us engaged, foster a sense of empathy and most importantly can help us formulate memories. So, if youre struggling to create content that truly resonates with your audience, have a go at telling a story! Ditch the sales talk, get personal and engage with them on a deeper level... heres one I prepared earlier with the legends at Community Gateway

05.01.2022 This week has been absolutely yuuuuge! One of the highlights was filming some training exercises for the Opstar team at HMAS Albatross. "Efficient at jumping in and out of burning helicopters" is now on my rsum No day is ever the same at Cade Digital!

05.01.2022 CareSouth recently asked me to put together a recruitment video that showcased their diversity, passion and the vast opportunities their organisation provides to staff We went on a bit of a roadtrip, interviewing and filming staff in the Illawarra, Wagga and Goulburn. Take a look at how it turned out!

03.01.2022 Facebook has found itself stuck between a rock and a hard place Following the #Coronavirus and #BlackLivesMatter movement, brands such as Starbucks, Pepsi Co and Diageo have joined a growing boycott of Facebook Advertising. The boycott calls for the suppression of posts that glorify violence, divide and disinform the public. However, doing so would mean censorship of free speech and political discourse. Globally, and especially in the US, the boycott has already cost Faceb...ook billions. As an Australian brand or small business owner, do you see this boycott having an effect on your media budget allocation or monthly spend?

03.01.2022 Donned the hard-hat and boots today for our photoshoot at Dunmore Quarry with the Department of Regional NSW. Keen to see how the photos turn out

03.01.2022 Please welcome the newest member of the Cade Digital team! Barney started with us on Monday, taking up the role of Junior Barketing Assistant. Hes looking forward to meeting all of our clients over the next few weeks... especially Poplar Petfood & Produce

03.01.2022 In a nutshell, Instagram #Reels are a new way to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram. Sound familiar? Yep! Instagram has replicated the functionality and shareability of #tiktok to broaden their audience and enhance user experience. We know this isnt the first time Facebook/Instagram have repurposed ideas from other platforms (remember when they introduced Stories after Snapchat refused to be bought?) They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this move could be very fruitful given the shadows looming over Tik Toks future due to security concerns, especially in the US. If youre keen to see some in action, brands who are already killing the Reel game include @louisvuitton and @sephorafrance

03.01.2022 Im currently working on a video project with Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) to showcase one of the crucial mental health services provided in the Illawarra. One of our interviewees happened to be celebrating his birthday, so we enjoyed some cake and socially distanced banter before filming For some in the room, that little celebration among strangers was one of the first human interactions theyve experienced since Covid-19 kicked off. Times have changed so much recently, but its somehow made moments like this even more precious.

02.01.2022 Last week, I was lucky enough to help capture the Groundbreaking at CareSouths new facility in South Nowra. Their team work tirelessly to provide vulnerable kids with foster care solutions and youth services throughout the Illawarra and Regional NSW. For more info on the planned $3 million head office and community hub, check out the coverage from WIN News Illawarra here https://bit.ly/3faothc

02.01.2022 Yesterday, with the help of the amazing Dancers, Judges, Cancer Council Southern NSW, Element Cheer and the generous public, Stars of Eurobodalla Dance For Cancer went ahead (the ONLY Stars event to go ahead in the state this year!) If you've got an hour to spare, you can watch the event below (filmed AND edited by Cade Digital within an 8-hour period yesterday ) Ohh... The event also raised to $45,857 for cancer support services in the Eurobodalla. Not a bad effort for a region that coped with bushfires, floods and COVID-19 this year

01.01.2022 Cappadocia magic, 2019 Who else has been swooning over travel photos since lockdown began?

01.01.2022 In the lead up to the 2019 I98FM Illawarra Convoy, I wanted to share this video I put together to mark 15 years of Convoy. It features the founding members who have collectively raised over $13 million since 2005, as well as some of the Convoy families who were supported while their children received treatment. This Sunday, do what you can to support this amazing cause by heading to Shellharbour Airport for the family fun day, donating online or simply throwing some coins in the Convoy bucket at your local cafe. Every dollar helps support local families during their toughest moments
