19.01.2022 Bit of zoom action from last night's Open Mic.

18.01.2022 Reality check... !st pic doesn't need much explaining, these catastrophic fires are becoming way too common. Besides the loss of life and possessions, the bravery of our mainly volunteer firefighters and their dealing with destruction, our Flora and Fauna under immense pressure, habitat cannot be rebuilt in a year. 2nd pic I call "Rush'. Its an ambulance, lights flashing and sirens blaring. The two medics inside heading to who knows what. Minds focused ready to deal with whatever they arrive at. Our daily little problems can be quite pedantic, when we look at the bigger picture.

16.01.2022 Due to running a Photographic workshop I didn't get to the Juke Joint's Open Mic till about 9.30. Walked in and the place was full. Chris Rand on the desk, Greg Button behind the bar and David Lloyd doing the compeering. The diversity and quality of musos on stage was like going to a mini festival. A venue dedicated purely for music with great sound, lighting and stage, provide a quality venue and you get quality artists. Ran a longer lens and switched between mono and colour.
