02.01.2022 Why can't new plays be marketed like bands? Because these four actors have chemistry and audiences love them. PUB THEATRE... Marooned at The Palace Hotel 893 Burke Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124 18th February 2020 Book now https://www.trybooking.com/BIDLB Dinner and show 7pm $54.95 6 meals to choose form. Show only, 8pm $35.00 Book now https://www.trybooking.com/BIDLB These four, Marooned’s current band of actors have taken this play from the MTC’s Lawler, to three country venues and more are booking in and now they are heading to the country’s capitol city to stage to for the heads of an organization that, if they win them over could be life changing. They have rehearsed in librarys, bowling clubs and in pubs often after work. On the 18th of Feb they will be upstairs at The Palace Hotel, Camberwell so if you want to see why they are kicking such extraordinary goals why not come and see them. And I might say they are doing all this without any backing. The towns book them in and arrange the funding for the shows themselves. In a risk averse society this was a rebel play, but these four committed actors are doing such an incredible job that it’s well on its way to becoming a crowd favourite. As Alfredo Albini stated, it is a Triumph of Art. Something that became clear in Red Rock’s Theatre and Gallery when over two shows the audience rose to their feet to offer these actors a standing ovation. Now to take it to Ballarat and Geelong and Bendigo. Michael
