21.01.2022 This week is Food Allergy Awareness Week! Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia has come up with a great campaign to help raise education and awareness about the rising problem of food allergies - the 1 in 10 campaign. "1 in 10 infants now have food allergy. The most common food allergies in childhood are cow’s milk, egg, peanut and tree nut. The foods that trigger 90% of food allergic reactions in Australians include cow’s milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, sesame, soy, wheat, fish and shellfish. Peanut, tree nut, fish, shellfish and sesame allergy are usually lifelong." The CAIR group got together and all painted our nails to support this! 19.01.2022 CAIR would like to say a massive thankyou and farewell to Hauke, our work experience student from Germany. He has been with us since September last year and has been of incredible value to the team - always happy to help out where needed. The group all chipped in to buy him a didgeridoo as a small token of our appreciation. We wish him well on his future travels and study!!

14.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came and visited us at the Perth Baby Expo! It was lovely seeing so many new faces (and a few past participants). We had an amazing three days, offering advice and giving out updates and information on our studies! We hope this will not only help to raise awareness of childhood allergies but also introduce many people to the idea of research and its benefits!
