24.01.2022 Holsters and a smile. This is how you’ll see me when I’m shooting with you. I was co-working with friends last week, and one of them mentioned how grounded she feels when she’s around me. I think that’s one way I’m able to get my clients relax and be themselves so easily.... I love hearing my clients say that I made the shoot so relaxed and easy. That’s the way I’d want it for myself too. Thanks to @brandingbybritt for making this relaxed and easy for me too!

Sticking to your brand guidelines, your brand colours and being true to you is a great way to create this. We will delve into this in your pre-shoot questionnaire to give us both clarity into the images you want to portray what you do. 22.01.2022 Connection is such a big part of what I do. Connecting with my ideal client and helping my clients connect with their ideal client! I recently photographed @angelahendersonconsulting business retreat to both document and capture the event but also to work with each individual to build some images that they can takeaway and use to connect with their own networks and of course, clients! 17.01.2022 You know I love a good story! Rebecca from @patternshop.studio came to one of my recent headshot sessions with a prop she was unsure about using. When she told me what it was and the story behind it, I was certain we’d definitely be using it! Rebecca is an architect and spent much of her youth in her grandfathers workshop where he created timber mould patterns. When the workshop closed, Rebecca saved as many patterns as she could, and named her business after it.... I have a sentimental heart, I’ll always jump at the chance to tell these kind of stories. Even if it's just your regular coffee cup! Plan your props with your personality in mind. 06.01.2022 Get inspired- actively look out for cool spots in your city, have you got a favourite brand who have shot at a funky location? Is there a cool coffee spot you’d love to get a photo at. A styled location or bright coloured wall are all things that can 'help stop the scroll'. Make the most out of creative spaces who have taken the time to style a space for your personal branding photography shoot. Having a mix of indoor, outdoor shots can really help add interest to your feed which means you get more mileage out of your photography.
