23.01.2022 10 Ways to Grow Your Business in CBBC. 1. Focus on One Member a Week or Month. When you focus on one member at a time, you would be surprised how many opportunities you hear for them. Choose someone, anyone, and just LISTEN. 2. Promote Others: In CBBC there are many ways to help each other besides actually passing a referral. Promotion can happen at networking events; on social media (applaud a member’s service and provide a link to his or her web site); your office (displa...y the business cards, flyers, or brochures on a bulletin board); or, in a newsletter (create a resources page with bios and website contact info). 3. Show Some Appreciation: Yes, thank the members who give you business or promote you. Everyone likes to hear it! 4. Support Others: We can all mentor each other. We all have had experiences worth sharing. Knowledge is powerful, but not if kept to oneself. Share it! 5. Share a Testimonial: The written testimonial is a powerful tool. If you have had an excellent experience with another member, give them the ultimate compliment and share it in writing. Take that extra 15 minutes and write a glowing paragraph. Nothing demonstrates appreciation better than a glowing, written, testimonial. Consider posting the testimonial on the person’s Facebook or LinkedIn page. 6. Lead the Relationship: If you hired 25 sales people, you wouldn't say, "Okay, guys, you work for me, go to work!" You would educate and train them. The same idea applies. Help members to help you by asking for a specific referral each week. Be clear who you are interested in meeting and ask for that person. Yes, it takes more time, but this time is well spent. Also consider writing a sales script that can be cut and pasted into an email. Help them to help you. 7. Come prepared to your Safari's: Have a series of questions set out to ask. Prior to your meeting, see if they are on LinkedIn and identify 2-3 people you would like to meet from their network. Ask to be introduced to those individuals during the Safari. 8.. Work It: Treat CBBC like a business. You have made an investment of time and money. This could be the only investment in marketing you make this year if you work it right. Do not just show up and expect results. Those who do, end up disappointed and ultimately leave. You will get from CBBC what you put into it. If you spend time preparing yourself and educating your team, you WILL get your desired results. 9. Set Some Goals: Whether it be weekly or monthly, challenge yourself by setting some targets to achieve for number of referrals given, Safari's, and how many breakfast meetings you can attend. 10. Enjoy Your Relationships: Have Fun. Laugh. Joke. Get to know each other. We want to do business and help the people we know, like, and trust. Remember that success is in the people! Invest in others to invest in your business! Does anyone have some other tips that they'd like to share?

14.01.2022 There are several ways that you can become more engaged with your fellow members: 1. Have you taken the time to regularly meet with the people in your group on a one-to-one basis? This means setting up times outside the context of any normal meetings and getting to know them on a deeper, professional level. 2. Have you taken the time to educate them regularly on the key elements of your business, so that your products or services will be top of mind in the event they meet so...meone with a need for what you do? 3. Have you taken the time to become educated on the key elements of your networking partners' businesses, so that you can do the same for them? 4. Have you visited their offices to get first-hand understanding of their services? 5. If possible, have you used their products or services to get first-hand knowledge of the quality their products or the services they provide?
