25.01.2022 Not a bad view from my office today.

22.01.2022 Another day in paradise

14.01.2022 Another trying night for the team. Had a great start to the night being highest points man heading into the third heat but didn’t carry the momentum for the res...t of the night. Heat 1 4th-2nd Had a great start going around the outside and getting level with the pole car but couldn’t get any traction on the loose dirt and had to settle in for 2nd. Both the car and motor were on point heat 2 4th-2nd Had a decent start picking off 3rd place and had settled in to a good rhythm catching up to 2nd when the car in front had some issues and had to stop with 2 laps to go. Got a good jump off the restart but wasn’t able to have a crack at 1st. Once again the car and motor ran faultlessly Heat 3 (Fastest to the rear) 6th-5th Was extremely happy that we were highest on points but unfortunately due to a pretty average start i wasn’t able to make much progress. Had a crack at 4th with a few laps to go but wasn’t able to make it stick. Feature 3rd-Dnf Had a great first start jumping into 1st but was deemed a jump start even though i was level with the outside pole car heading into turn 1. Off the Second start i had to be cautious not to pass the cars in-front as i had already been given a warning for passing off the starts. Heading into turn 1 the outside pole car cut off the pole car forcing him to get on the breaks and with me right behind him it left me no where to go other than into him and resulting in the car flipping. Personally, i was very disappointed at myself for throwing away a potential top 3 finish but looking back at the heats i am extremely happy on how well we did to even start on the second row against the drivers that were racing. We have assessed the car this morning and will get practically a new car for the Queensland Titles in Pioneer Park Speedway next weekend. Once again i’d like to thank everyone who supports the team and eveyone who is sticking behind us through these trying times. 05.01.2022 FIRST TOP 5 FINISH!! Finally after all the hours of hard work and long nights scratching our heads in confusion, we have finally resolved our motor issues that ...we have been having lately. Heat 1: 4th-3rd Had a good start picking 3rd place off but wasn’t able to catch the car in front due to making too many mistakes trying different lines. Heat 2: 3rd-2nd Had a great start moving up one position. Ran the leader down with around 3 laps to go when i tried to have a crack at passing him but wasn’t able to get the job done. Heat 3 7th-5th Had another good start picking off 2 cars but wasn’t able to make anymore passes due to the track going completely slick with no top line. We tried something a little bit different with the setup that bit us in the bum but will now know for next time not to do it. Feature 6th-5th Had a pretty good start picking off one car but being on the outside lane i wasn’t able to hold the position. Was settled in 6th for majority of the race when a few cars got together. Got a good jump off the restart and was able to get pass the car in front and hold onto 5th. Overall i’m extremely happy about how well we went with it being the first time the car has run faultlessly. We will make a few changes before our next race to hopefully find some more speed.
