20.01.2022 IMPORTANT | COVID-19 UPDATE Choir is suspended until further notice. ANCA (the Australian National Choral Association) has advised that all choirs should STOP in light of the current medical situation. This was discussed at last night's meeting and it was decided to suspend choir until further notice. ... Please take the time to read our Newsletter, especially the "fees" info. Please stay safe and hopefully we will be back up and running in the very near future! Mrs D

A GREAT BIG HUGE THANK YOU mus...t also go to our wonderfully talented Guest Artists - Eloise, Cathy, Lydia, Josiah, Paige, Jake, Paula and her girls and last, but definitely not least, Stella. Your contributions were invaluable. Thanks to the audience for coming along and supporting us and making the children's hard work all worthwhile. 16.01.2022 We are so proud of our amazing CJCS Choir. They put in so much hard work for the recent Innisfail Eisteddfod and it well and truly paid off! They came away with three 1st place awards, one 2nd, and the aggregate! Congratulations!!

03.01.2022 ONCE AGAIN, A GREAT BIG HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WONDERFUL CHOIR MEMBERS ON ACHIEVING A HIGHLY COMMENDED, A THIRD AND TWO SECONDS IN THE CAIRNS EISTEDDFOD YESTERDAY. YOU DID YOURSELVES PROUD. WELL DONE.

03.01.2022 WOOHOO! Check this out! We are so happy that we were able to replace or poor old falling-down fence as well as have our kitchen cupboards installed thanks to our successful Cairns Regional Council Arts and Cultural Infrastructure Grant application! Here are some of our committee members enjoying a cup of tea in our gorgeous new kitchen. (Don’t worry, this was pre social distancing!) And just look at that smart new fence!
