23.01.2022 The first of the new Nuggetfinder coils for the GPZ7000 is being released on 18th December. These will be available in small numbers from the start with production ramping up in early 2021. This 12" coil comes in at 300 grams lighter than the standard Minelab 14" x 13" coil. There are no modifications or patch leads needed to use this coil on your GPZ7000. Pricing will be $1295.00 and the coil will come with a Minelab lower shaft. People seeking significant depth gains will be catered for when the larger coils are released in 2021. We have had a list of people wanting this coil for quite a while now, so if you want to join the list, then contact us to be added. 19.01.2022 To all our valued customers. The TOWNSVILLE store is moving to a larger premises and should be opening there on Charters Towers Road in a few weeks. Some customers have been telling us that the present location is difficult to find, so the move is to a location that directly faces the main road, has plenty of off street parking and will have HUGE signs so it cannot be missed. I will do a follow up when it gets closer to confirm the date, but here is a progress photo of the inside as it comes along. The CAIRNS store remains at the location it is on. 16.01.2022 It is with some sadness that I write this. At close of business on Friday the 1st of May, we are closing the Cairns Prospecting World store that has operated for the past two years. I take this opportunity to personally thank George Mayer who assisted me in getting the store operating, and more recently to Peter Cumberland who has been the store manager for the last 18 months. Those of you who know Peter will surely agree that he is most helpful, and as one the neighbouring s...torekeepers told me Everyone who leaves that store has a smile on their face. We are not about to abandon the prospectors in the area and will be redirecting the phones and emails to our Townsville branch. Anyone who contacts us after May 1st will be looked after from our there. We can send items overnight to urban areas via Fastway Couriers (now Aramex) or Australia Post for smaller parcels. Please take this opportunity to visit Pete at the store and see if you can get a good discount of the gear in stock. I’m sure he will certainly want to talk to you all and look after your needs. 07.01.2022 With the Corona Virus doing the rounds of the World, Australians are finding that because of panic buying, purchasing toilet paper is now harder than finding gold. Maybe it's time for all of us to self impose a 2 week isolation into the bush and get some yellow stuff. We have the bits you'll need for the trip of course.

On behalf of my wife and myself, I would like to George Mayer for his help in getting the store up and running, and also to Peter Cumberland for running the store for the last 18 months. Peter is a great guy and I'm sure someone out there would get an excellent worker if they employed him.
