24.01.2022 We have now vacated the Zoo property and handed over the keys to the new owner for the last time. Thanks to all our great supporters who have continued to visit our Hartleys Crocodile Adventures, Kuranda Koala Gardens and Birdworld Kuranda. You can now follow the journey of our wildlife on those pages. The land is now for sale and we wish the owners success in finding a buyer.

16.01.2022 Flashback to the 1980s. A dashing Warren Entch, crocodile and reptile wrangling at Australian Crocodile Park, later merged with Australian Bird Park to become Wild World. His first position with us was birdkeeping, a passion which continues to this day.

This is a testament to the high level of professionalism of our staff right up to and including the final day and evening of trading. Many of the Zoo team have taken up new full time and part time roles at Hartleys Crocodile Adventures, Kuranda Koala Gardens and Birdworld Kuranda and Freeman Corporation (our attraction management company), continuing their great work within our family owned and operated company group.
