25.01.2022 We had our last game for the season on Sunday. Played a friendly modified game teaming up with the Eagle Accounting Cairns City Reds Baseball Club to go against the Cubs Baseball Club - Cairns thanks for the great game. It's been a fun year and we have made a lot of new friends and learnt a lot ready for next year hopefully with no covid. Thank you to Cairns Baseball League and Cairns Baseball Umpires Association for the great year of games and the support to our new team. ...Thanks also to Cairns Angels Baseball and Cairns Bandits Baseball Club for the games played and help this year. 25.01.2022 We were given a lot of hot shot pizza vouchers from Domino's Edmonton Page so we just had to hand a few of them out to our great bunch of members and friends and family. Thanks Domino's for the amazing support and the help to make our break up party to much more fun. 21.01.2022 Registration is now open for the 2020/2021 season. It will cover you from now till the end of our season next year. https://reg.sportlomo.com//baseball/northqld/dodgerscairns We have opened it now to give people the option to sign up and be covered early which will allow members to join us in all activities we might do such as training, fundraising, open days and friendly games.... The online fee only covers the Baseball Australia and Baseball Queensland fees as well as our club fee to help with looking after equipment. The local league and NQ fees portion will have to be paid prior to playing in our local season with fees TBA. I all parents and anyone else that might like to join us other then playing to register as a volunteer which is free.

21.01.2022 Dodgers we have a fundraiser on the 30th Nov and need help in spreading the word. Domino's Edmonton Page is hosting us on the 30th November from 4pm to 930pm an...d will be donating $1 from every pizza sold to Cairns Dodger. We will also have a stall with raffles and info to help out great sport and club. Please share this around as much as you can to make this a big night for us and support the club. And please come down to help on the night at the stall.

19.01.2022 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Training !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is our last training session for the 2020 season. We will be sharing the grounds with Soft Ball so need to use the Baseball Field on the far side and will not be running lights.... training from 515 - 615pm I will be planning another dinner at a local pub shortly to catch up and hope to have photos by then to hand out also. We are looking at option to run training and games in the off season and will let everyone know after a bit of a break.

16.01.2022 I am late to the party with these but I finally found a great QLD based company making the QR codes easy to setup and easy to use even for me. We will be using these codes from @safevisit from now on to try reduce paper usage and better contact free and save on setup time each session. Going into the off season these will make it easier to continue with training and friendly activities to continue to build on our fitness and skills.

15.01.2022 Senior's game today against the Cubs Baseball Club - Cairns Div3. Thanks for the game. The cubs were to good for us this week but it was a fun close game with 4 innings played and 3 outs in all innings. Some good pitching by Sammy and a great unassisted double play by Glen on 1st base.

14.01.2022 We helped out our friends in the all females baseball team Cairns Angels Baseball on the field today and it was a great game against the Eagle Accounting Cairns City Reds Baseball Club in Div3 who also fielded one of our seniors to make up numbers. Thanks to Domino's Edmonton Page we were able to reward some of their players with some Hit Shot free pizza vouchers. Thanks for the game girls and enjoy the pizza.

14.01.2022 First training session for the year for our junior member. Was light and fun with some new members learning the game and out returning members getting in some fun practice. Our seniors were also back at it in the batting cage with the pitching machine proving to be well worth the purchase every week.

We have not stopped and are doing some much needed maintenance on the mowers for Cairns Junior Baseball League to help make sure everything is ready for the new year and hope to start some training as so as we get time. Official season starts Friday 23 October... There are 3 clubs with some training kicking off this week on Wednesday 4-5pm for juniors and 5-6pm for seniors. 07.01.2022 It's such a nice feeling to be able to be picking up all this amazing new equipment for our club for both junior and senior players to train and play with. Today INTERSPORT Cairns got in 4 Mizuno catcher's glove which were greatly need for the club, 2 pitching practice nets and some junior safe soft balls for one of our pitching machines. Who looking forward to try some of this new gear out?
