06.01.2022 We are excited to be now selling 1kg (& 500g) bags of freshly made falafel mix. Instructions on how to roll, shape & cook them (like a pro) are on the pack. Any of the left over mix can be frozen for later use too. Tip: Get some flat bread then add your freshly cooked falafels w pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes & don't ever forget the tahina! 05.01.2022 KESHK! One of our summer specials that has just landed on the Cairo Takeaway menu. It's a unique dish that is very popular in the Middle East. Keshk has got the consistency of a rice pudding but only savoury. It's beautiful flavours come from a fragrant chicken broth. It is truely delicious. We like to finish it off with some caramelised onions and serve it with some soft flat bread.
