25.01.2022 Trying to step out of my comfort zone in 2021. I’m a fairly a shy person, so doing videos and being in front of a camera (even if it is just my hands! ) makes me somewhat uncomfortable. BUT....I’m doing my best to record more videos and include some different and more personal posts this year!... I hope you all enjoy seeing this little videos (and don’t judge my poor video and editing skills too harshly! ) First video up for 2021 is some painting on cookies. Pink and blue ‘watercolour effect’ on some baby shower cookies.

Pastel shades of pink/peach/cream vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream topped with sugar pearls, edible glitter, wafer paper butterflies and edible feeeze dried flowers These pretty & sweet ladies were the table centrepieces at a lunch for the mothers of Year 12 students from @marist_ashgrove... Thank you to Sarah from @simplyrosepetals for the beautiful edible freeze dried flowers!

21.01.2022 These magical cupcakes were for a Harry Potter fans 40th birthday celebration! I love creating hand made cupcake toppers. I find making all the tiny details really therapeutic. These cuppies were chocolate and topped with a chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream.

21.01.2022 This order came all the way from Japan! A surprise birthday cake for their dad over here in Australia Layers of buttery vanilla bean cookie cake and an espresso swiss meringue buttercream.... Topped with macarons, fresh berries and chocolates and lots of gold!

20.01.2022 1000 of these packaged cookies were given to the students of @mtstmichaelscollege as part of the Mary Aikenhead Day celebration (founder of MSM college) last Friday. These handstamped cookies were iced in the schools house colours. A big THANK YOU to Flick from @flickssweetspot for her amazing work designing this custom stamp and heart cutter for me!

20.01.2022 A close up of these gorgeous Classic Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower cookies. There are a mixture of decorating techniques in this set. The Winnie the Pooh is a printed edible image, there are handcut motifs, free hand drawing, hand painting stamping and piping!

17.01.2022 Love the colours in this Paw Patrol cake! Featuring edible printed images of Skye and Everest and the Paw Patrol logo. Everything is edible! (Except the 3 topper!)... Inside was a vanilla bean butter cake layered with vanilla bean buttercream).

16.01.2022 When my client sent me an inspo pic of an adorable cookie collection by @6bscreations, I fell in LOVE with it! Classic Winnie the Pooh is one of my favourites! Perfect for a baby shower! These cuties (a mix of vanilla bean cookies and gluten free vanilla been cookies) were iced with fondant icing instead of royal icing like the originals from the inspo pic.... Each cookie was presented in a cellophane bag and tied with a baby blue satin ribbon.

Watercolour effect buttercream in pink/white with stenciling, preserved florals, chocs, macarons and mermaid themed sugar decorations Finished off with a touch of gold ... Such a beautiful mix of girly prettiness and mermaid for a 1st birthday! Inside was my chocolate fudge butter cake layered with chocolate buttercream.

12.01.2022 Did someone say KFC?! This cake was for a KFC lover’s birthday! Inside was layers of chocolate mudcake and chocolate ganache.... 03.01.2022 This pretty design has been popular! Another box of vanilla bean cupcakes featuring pretty handmade sugar daisies and stamped sugar disc toppers. This was for a birthday lunch to celebrate milestone birthdays of 3 lovely ladies!

03.01.2022 I love when I can create my own cake design!!! It gives me the chance to brainstorm ideas and techniques, followed up with a sketch of my vision (I LOVE drawing!). This masculine design was a cement look textured buttercream cube, featuring a blue marbled isomalt sail (to represent waves), choc spheres (to contrast against the sharp edges of the cake and create an arty vibe) and a splash of gold leaf in the lower left corner (to balance the look).... Inside was layers of fudgey chocolate cake and Milo buttercream.

02.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap! 2020 is done! I’d like to take this opportunity to not only wish you all a Happy New Year, but to thank all those who supported my business this year. 2020 was tough for all (some more than others) but I want to thank those who, despite COVID-19 restrictions, still ordered a cake, cupcakes or cookies (even small orders!), and helped to support my business, my family and my dream. I am grateful to you all. ... Thank you to the regular customers (you know who you are! ) who consistently support me throughout the year.
