19.01.2022 Hi Guys one of our members asked us about using a trenching machine under our insurance .i said yes but and this is the reason why just so you know . Confirming the policy will respond. There is an Underground Services exclusion which applies to the policy as follows: 7.25 Damage to underground services (such as but not limited to water, gas, sewerage or fuel pipes, electric or telephone cables) or any underground property or structure for the purpose of storing, conveyin...g, transporting, transmitting or delivering of electricity, water, gas, fuel, telecommunications media, signals, radio or other waves unless: 7.25.1 Prior to the commencement of any work the Insured has inquired with the relevant public authority or owner of such service, property or structure as to the exact location of such service, property or structure, and has taken all precautions to avoid such service, property or structure; and 7.25.2 Any indemnity provided by the proviso to this exclusion shall be limited to the cost of repair, replacement or reinstatement of such damaged services, property or structure and shall not extend to any consequential loss resulting therefrom. To put it simply, the policy will not respond if no checks were made (i.e. Dial Before You Dig etc) prior to the commencement of digging.

Ive always been very active, whether it was playing tennis, riding horses, or the occasional bungee jump and skydive. MS has brought with it a different existence with new challenges. Im not one to shy away from a challenge which is why Ive decided this year, to dare myself to complete Megans Great MS Mowdown. This May I will Travel from Melbourne to Sydney on my trusty ride-on lawnmower, and on the way I will be raising funds and awareness for MS Australia.
