17.01.2022 Not only are my clients wedding affected this week, my wonderful cake friends wedding is also impacted. In a business that already complied and exceeds the required hygiene and food safety standards, Im really disappointed by the requirement to encase display cakes that will be eaten. Lets get some sensibility into this Weddings industry COVIDSafe plan and help future couples lessen the added stresses on their special day. Please sign and share so I can put this amendment before the regulation makers

17.01.2022 Many of my clients who already have had their weddings impacted by COVID-19 now have the added stress of being unable to display or serve their cake without placing it in a sealed container. I am calling for an amendment to the current Weddings Industry COVID SAFE plan to remove this restriction, as the potential to transmit COVID 19 through a displayed cake is no greater than that of tableware. As an industry that has already been severely impacted by this pandemic, restrict...ions such as these only cause further income losses and loss of potential business through making it difficult to use such an important part of a wedding. I urge my clients and fellow industry colleagues to sign this petition and restore the ability to serve displayed cake to guests once more. 07.01.2022 Despite our current business being on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions- once on the other side- we will return to business as usual. In the interim estimates can still be advised via email. An updated set of Terms and Conditions have been uploaded to the website. In the last few weeks I have been contacting and working with displaced clients to move their orders to new dates. Since the pandemic theyve worked harder than ever to make sure the students and their families had all the tools and resources to continue learning through the crisis. Theyve managed creating a terms worth of work in just a couple of weeks- then facilitated both in classroom and at home learning. Theyve kept their students engaged and maintained relationships with all their little people. Ive learned a whole new level of appreciation for our school staff, beyond that I ever had before.
