24.01.2022 Tuesday Volunteer Callout. Covid-19 has brought us many things, one of them is needing more volunteers to run our events safely and to ensure Covid-19 protocols are met. We are required to have 1 Barcode Scanner per 50 Runners. Saturday just gone we had over 200 runners. This means we need 4 barcode scanners. We currently have 2. ... To complete our team for Saturday we need; 2 Barcode Scanners 1 Post event close down First to respond gets the gig. 22.01.2022 Parkrun Volunteering Parkrun is a free event for everyone forever. The only thing that is asked for in return of your free to enter event is some of your time. Ask yourself this question, how many runs have I done and does this proportionately compare to how many times I have helped out by volunteering.... If your answer is no then lets change that no to a yes by volunteering, if not this week then perhaps another week, here is our Vollie roster for the coming weeks. 13.01.2022 Using the QR code is as easy as 1, 2, 3. 1 Download a QR scanner app. 2 Scan the Calamvale Parkrun QR code. 3 Fill in your details and submit.... QR codes will be around the undercover area, or check in before you leave home on Saturday morning using the code on FB. This will have a date stamp so please check in each Saturday. One person can check in their family or running buddies, and we encourage everyone to check in. These are new processes for everyone so please be patient and be kind so we can all continue to operate. If you need help please see one of our great volunteers on the day. #calamvaleparkrun
