18.01.2022 This Saturday we will be having an in house comp to help Matt and Morgan raise money for Ronald McDonald House. Recently Morgan gave birth to little Cooper who had some complications and needed to be air lifted to Westmead children Hospital. Ronald McDonald House supported Matt and Morgan thorough out this very stressful time for them. There will be 3 workouts and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in both Opens and beginner categories, including best dressed team (in red). ... Nick Stewart from Small Farming Solutions will be proving the BBQ on the day and will be matching the donations from the sales with a cash donation himself. Justine Brackenrig from Intersport will be donating a range of products for our prize pool. Helen Blackmore for Oatley wines has also donated some wine for our prize pool. The day starts at 7.30am and will run through till around 9.30am , please come down and support all our teams and buy a bacon and egg roll to support Ronald McDonald House.

14.01.2022 Welcome to 2021 For some of us it’s time to set our goals for the year. For others it’s an opportunity to reset our fitness, meaning what classes we are coming to and how often we are coming. Being consistent with your training is all about routine. ... Things to think about to make this happen 1. Choose a class time that is least affected by work or family commitments 2. Also choose a time that you like to train at, it’s always more enjoyable when you can come to the gym when you want too 3. I know 1 & 2 are a contradiction but there needs to be happy medium 4. Make sure your diet is under control, you don’t have to eat like one of the top 5 CrossFitters you just need to make sure your making the right choices, portion sizes and avoid snacking(I know I have done enough of that lately) 5. When in the classes choose scaling options and weight choices so that you can get through the workout and make sure you get the correct stimulus from the program 6. But most of all have fun in the class. Sure push yourself and friendly rivalry is great, good old banter and cheering your mate on keeps us coming back.

Most workouts are partner based but we are following social distancing guide lines. ...
