25.01.2022 A couple of girls have been in the studio having makeovers. All ready for Spring now. They will be available this weekend on the show. This show has been organised by a German artist which means the show starts at 2am Saturday , Melbourne australia time. 23.01.2022 A couple of CaLiCor Steampunk bears made before the weekend. They have had to wait until today when I found a spare couple of hours to make their vests and hats before getting the nod of approval from their new mums. And I’m pleased to say they have both been given the tick and will be settling into their new homes soon. If you think you would like to order a steampunk bear please send me a message and we can discuss. (Short delays expected as I have booked myself into a few bear shows between now and December).

21.01.2022 Thanks to the collectors who purchased from me over the weekend on the Singapore show. I have some items left which I will advertise on here over the next couple of days and any left may be included in the eBear show this coming weekend. But for now I’m straight back into it getting ready for the eBear show. Hopefully these bodies will have their heads on by then and be ready to greet you.

21.01.2022 Pretty quiet week in the studio this week. But I have managed to finish this custom order CaLiCor Door Pal. (Whoops I’ve forgotten her ). Black/zebra ears with pale pink nose was the request. Hope my lovely customer likes her. Rainbow custom order x 2 in the background ready to cut out.

20.01.2022 Tried my hand at dyeing mohair today. (And a piece of wool which didn’t really work) (and the green alpaca which I didn’t like). All the same dye in the same pot. Loving the colour variations with the different furs and especially how the pink one turned out. I can see a rabbit from that piece

14.01.2022 Happy 60th birthday to a wonderful customer She gave me her brief for this majestic steampunk pairing and then added go for it and see what you come up with! Here is the end result and it’s her birthday today so I’m now allowed to show them off. I love them and my collector tells me she does too ... 12.01.2022 I love drawing and cutting out bears . It relaxes me and I don’t have to think too hard while doing it . (I have another six cut out ready to stitch too ). A couple of these may be orders and the others are just cos I wanted to see some of these mohairs made up. Now to put all these little limbs onto those bodies !!!

12.01.2022 Late last week Dan Andrews (premier of Victoria) opened regional Victoria for restaurants and travel etc again. I live in regional Victoria . Sorry to my Melbourne friends and collectors who are still in lockdown . So as hubby has had to take his annual leave (we were booked for a Canadian trip ) we are heading off to Horsham/Halls Gap for a few days away. So not much will be done in the studio this week. But alas my steel shot finally arrived and I finally got to finish this gorgeous boy. He sold off his photo last week and his new mum has called him Mikey and he will be heading to his new home soon.

12.01.2022 Thought I would share some pics from our couple of days away in Regional Victoria this week. Back home tomorrow and work for both of us again next week.

08.01.2022 I found out about a new Facebook bear show in the wee hours this morning and just got in as a trader before the door closed on applications. The group is called Truly yours, bears and stuff. This blue and gold boy will hopefully be available as now I’m waiting patiently for my steel shot to arriv...e in the mail so I can fill his tummy with some weight. . I’m keeping the fingers crossed it arrives in the next couple of days. Look up the group and ask to join. There are over 70 artists attending this one.

05.01.2022 Back home safe and sound from our little trip away. All ready to begin work for some upcoming shows I have on and to do some custom orders. 03.01.2022 The show has started and what a show. There are 54 artists trading and OMG I don’t know which album to open first (second after mine) to look at. To find the albums click the album tab which you will find under the group and members names on the iPad and I think on a computer it will be down the left hand side. Then click on an album. To find out details of items click the individual photos and prices etc should be listed. Comment sold. Easy. Or here are the bears I have fo...r sale this weekend. You are welcome to pop on the group and look or message me and I can let you know. I can then mark the item as sold if you purchase. I know what I’ll be doing for a couple of hours today. Grabbing a coffee or two and have a look and maybe even a purchase or two. 01.01.2022 Finished this beautiful bear on the weekend for a beautiful lady who is the closest thing to an aunt that I’ve ever had and known all my life. She is made using my aunts 21st birthday stoll that she wore on the night back in 1968. I’ve called her Baxter as that is her surname. Her bows are made from the lining on the original stoll and I have attached the label on the back the bows. I’ve just had the phone call to say she arrived safely today and she loves her ... Don’t know if I’ll use the other fur coats from the family that she also gave me as they are a challenge. But maybe one day.
