23.01.2022 hey everyone, Calisthenics Association of Queensland is running a Calisthenics photo competition, where the winner receives a canvas of their photo. Only those appearing in the photo can enter, but if anyone likes one of our photos, please feel free to use it to enter the competition, you can borrow it from this site or let me know and I will try to get you a higher res copy.... check out their website http://www.facebook.com/CalisthenicsAssociationOfQueensland and details of the comp below It is not too late to enter the CAQI Photo Comp. Do you have a great cali photo of yourself? It might be from competitions, or class or maybe of you doing an amazing trick on the beach. 10 days left to enter and get as many votes and you can. 22.01.2022 Hi everyone, I am very happy to announce that I contacted minibox and they have very kindly agreed to give us an extension on the photo books so that people don't need to feel so rushed with placing their orders, so you will now be able to purchase them for another 2 weeks. 13.01.2022 So I was keen to see how the girls were going this year and was lucky enough to drop by the 13years Cali solos last night. Wow what an amazing group, the competition was so tough and the girls were amazing. Congratulations to you all, it was such a pleasure to see your wonderful performances. I look forward to dropping by into some other age groups to catch up with a few more of you. Good luck to all those competing!

12.01.2022 just noticed that Royal South street released a proposed Ballarat schedule, I know its still a little while before comp season begins but I'm getting a little excited... can't wait to see what everyone has been working on this year!!!!

She is really keen to gather some stories from people in the Calisthenics community from all across Australia and from all aspects of the sport. 06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, just a reminder that this is the last week you can get photo books. Anyone still wishing to order one please do so by Wed, I can accept orders Thursday morning before 10am at the latest, after that the photo books will no longer be available, and we will not be able to get any further extensions. Stills and posters will be available for a while longer and I am currently working on adding Avonde, Crown, Marden and Merinda stills and posters to the site, so watch this space as they should be up soon, thanks Maz

06.01.2022 another amazing night at the CVI solos, The 12 year group was stunning, I don't know what amazes me more, the insane flexibility and strength of the girls or the skill of the incredible coaches that come up with the mind blowing moves in the routines! Can't wait to go again!

04.01.2022 I was lucky enough to be able to make it out to Ballarat and see the competition today and wow what incredible performances, all the teams should be so proud! I can't wait to see the evening session and hear the results, the adjudicators must be having a tough time as there is a lot of talented teams on that stage! Its been amazing to actually sit and watch In the audience this year! I've heard that there has been some incredible competition so far in the other divisions also, it's such a shame I couldn't be here earlier, I wish to send my congrats though, from what I've heard the standard of competition has been phenomenal and I am sure it will continue to be so!

03.01.2022 A massive congratulations to all the teams who competed in Victoria recently across all the divisions and age groups (though I may be a little early as I think there might be one more division next weekend, so good luck those that are yet to compete) we hope you have had the start to the year you've been hoping for, we've heard there has been some great close and very strong competition! To those from the other states, I imagine your competition season has also kicked off, I am not sure of the dates but wishing you all the best of luck too!

01.01.2022 I imagine Cali Girls are part of a very limited group of people watching the rhythmic Gymnastics at the moment and thinking "I could do some of those moves", the rest of us are just trying to pick up our jaws off the floor :)
