21.01.2022 This is my last post for Wild Child Family Daycare as I am shutting down in order to follow other career options. I have a few people I would like to thank, for making the past 6 and half years, completely amazing. To all my gorgeous children and all that came before you, I adore you and I miss you, and I THANK YOU for the wonderful memories. Each of you unique and forever in my heart To my gorgeous children’s parents, I thank you for being amazing and supportive and pre...tty much letting me do whatever excursions I want . Your trust is appreciated. You are amazing Mothers, Fathers and lets not forget the Nan’s and Pops. You are doing a great job, you are raising them right . To my Family, my Dave Docherty, my Charlie, Sam and Riley. Thank you for always having my back, for sharing me with others, and sharing your space, stuff and love. Xoxo. To the wonderful educators who have guided me, supported me, listened to me, and kept me sane. You are amazing and I would not have made it through without you. You know who you are . So many great memories, and you are not getting rid of me that easily, I will be bugging you girls all the time xoxoxo

13.01.2022 We were thrilled to be invited to visit the MAFSA Hatchery.

10.01.2022 The Children are gaining confidence, coordination, and learning to Risk Assess their own play, with our fortnightly Gymnastics sessions .

09.01.2022 Today we were lucky enough to get to participate in a Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Discovery Tour, at Woolworths Marian. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The children were given the opportunity to see behind the scenes and try different fruit. Fantastic morning

08.01.2022 To celebrate the National Simultaneous Story Time book of choice, Alpacas with Maracas, by Matt Cosgrove, we went to visit Valley View Minis and read it with the Alpacas .

05.01.2022 Yesterday we went to learn about Butterflies at the Botanical Gardens. The children were fascinated and asked lots of questions

04.01.2022 Please support Wild Child Family Daycare as we participate in the Woolworths Earn and Learn Promotion . We are a small Family Service who, over the years, has supported dozens of local Pioneer Valley Families with quality Childcare. Now we are asking for our community to get behind us and help us out . I realise many of you will have your own Schools and Daycares who you will be supporting, and that is fantastic. I am hoping community members who don’t have a particular school, might instead throw some stickers into our box. We have a box at the Marian Woolworths, or they can be dropped off to our service or one of our Families, if you know them . Let’s work together to get these wonderful children some resources.

03.01.2022 We spent a wonderful morning up at Finch Hatton visiting Valley View Minis. The children had an amazing morning and learnt a lot about Alpacas, which was the focus of the Simultaneous Story Time book today, Alpacas with Maracas by Matt Cosgrove.

02.01.2022 MAFSA. Today we were given a rare opportunity to visit the Mackay Area Fish Stocking Association Hatchery. This purely voluntary organization is responsible for stocking fish into all of the local dams, the goose ponds, and the pioneer river. They have released over 2.3 million fish into our waterways. Almost a million of those have been breed in this little shed in Rural View. Keith was amazing and took us through the whole process.

01.01.2022 Celebrating National Simultaneous Story Time, by reading the book of choice, Alpacas with Maracas by Matt Cosgrove, while surrounded by Alpacas . We had a fantastic morning.

01.01.2022 Following on from our Butterfly experience yesterday, today we made Butterfly masks, read the Very Hungry Caterpillar and researched Butterflies and Caterpillars online.
