23.01.2022 We have some great news!!!!!!!! Following the easing of restrictions, we are excited to announce a return to our Rally Days on the 5th of July. There will be a few additional requirements although with good management we can safely return to our favourite sport. The committee was recently able to meet, and with the following guidelines we are able to safely return to the grounds:... Canteen will remain closed until further notice Social Distancing (1.5m) Training / Rally Activities will require the use of PCA approved gloves while handling club equipment Train and go approach in line with the Government guidelines Coaches and Officials to complete the COVID Safe Sport Coach Certification Families and Participants are encouraged to complete the Infection Control Training in the below link.. https://www.health.gov.au//covid-19-infection-control-trai If there are any queries please don’t hesitate to drop us a message

21.01.2022 S U N D A Y F U N D A Y ! This Sunday at pony club is a POINTS DAY. 28th March 830 gear check (unmounted) 845 start... What is a points day you ask and what are the points? Every month we hold a points day. On this day you can accumulate points, all the points are counted and the person in each age group with the most points at the end of the year wins a prize How to gets points Polish your boots Clean your gear (perfect time to check stitching etc also a good time to swap stirrups. Stirrup stretch a tiny bit each time you get on) Wash your horse Go the extra mile and plait him up (nags to riches have excellent instructional videos on everything presentation) Hoof black Full pony club uniform (long sleeve green shirt, white tie, tie pin, green saddle cloth with calliope badge) This is excellent practice for when you compete as most of this is required when you compete.

02.01.2022 Who is excited about joining CHPC for 2021! With the 1st rally coming up make sure you get your gear out and give it a clean, check stitching and check to make sure everything is in good working order. If you've grown you'll need some new uniforms too. Some other things to keep in mind did you get new boots for Christmas? Make sure they still fit in your old stirrup irons! ... make sure your helmet is of the current standard and not expired - if you have a stack its always a good idea to get a new helmet. contact one of the lovely vets in the area to check your horses teeth and general health and soundness. Ask any questions you have about keeping your horse fit and healthy! keep your horses on a regular trim cycle. We have great farriers in the area who are experienced and want your horse happy. we also have lots of knowledgeable muscle workers and chiropractors that visit area. If you feel your horse isn't quite right having some hands go over him may help you avoid buying a new helmet. check the float tyres and rego etc See more
