21.01.2022 Fresh from the fantastic news regarding our young trio making the Roar 13’s Academy team...We are proud to confirm that Mac Smith has been appointed to oversee the junior development program at Moreton Bay NPL club. Over the years, Caloundra FC has had a close relationship with Moreton Bay with many of our talented players making the weekly drive. It wasn’t going to take long before they approached our talented coaches. Macka has been with the club for nearly 7 years, as a ta...lented player he has lead the premier team winning the Sunshine Coast Male player of the year 2019. But his biggest contribution has been coaching and mentoring our young players winning many premierships and Grand finals. This year Macka has had the difficult task of working as Technical director in the most difficult football season in nearly 50 years. He has done a fantastic job and clearly it has been noticed not just by our parents and players but also NPL clubs hence his many offers to take the step upwards. 17.01.2022 Fields Closed. Unfortunately with the downpour over the weekend the fields at the Meridan Sports Complex are closed today for all training. With matches scheduled during this week and a full training schedule hopefully this will allow time for the pitches to dry.

17.01.2022 Caloundra FC are proud to announce the success of our SAP program with our under 12 team invited to participate in the Brisbane Roar trial process and being one of the standout teams in Queensland. Well done to all the players and coaching staff. The 5 players below have progressed through to the final stage of the trial process held last night. Congratulations (left to right) Thomas Aarons, Jackson O’Reilly, Luca Skoullos, Luca Holder and Rhys Williams. The news does not ...stop there, both Luca’s, Skoullos, Holder and Rhys Williams have been offered a position in the 2021 under 13 Brisbane Roar NPL Academy Program. What a fantastic achievement!! 05.01.2022 This week was the funeral of a true Gentleman, Darrin Voss who lost his battle with cancer. Darrin is father of Ashton Voss who was in our SAP program and Caloundra FC for a number of years. Tomorrow is a rare opportunity where all the Sunshine Coast SAP programs will join together, mixing the teams to play in a 3v3 festival across all venues, celebrating not only football but more importantly the life of Darrin and another unfortunate passing of a Sunshine Coast Fire parent..., Rob Zanatta. In memory of both Darrin and Rob all players from Wanderers, Fire and CFC will wear black armbands and observe a minute of silence before the kickoff of the first game. 05.01.2022 Dissapointed With A Draw! . In what was the match of the round our first grade mens team battled out a 1-1 draw with @maroochydorefc . Coach Hill's thoguhts on the game were "I felt we were dominant in large parts of the game, particularly in the first half. We moved the ball well and created a lot of scoring opportunities. I’m happy with the performance but disappointed with a draw."... . It was great to see Tim Cornthwaite back between the sticks for Maroochydore after his tragic neck injury. It’s a shame for us that his performance was the difference between the two teams! . 05.01.2022 Qld has done a fantastic job staying safe, it has meant we could all get back to playing sports and doing the things we love doing....but remember to sign in using the QR code (we have 10 posters around the club with QR Codes), make sure you use sanitisers provided around the facility and if unwell STAY HOME AND GET TESTED. 04.01.2022 Ladies Football is back....all players are welcomed for two training sessions before the end of 2020. We will be looking at fielding Prem/Reserve and Coastal ladies teams in 2021 To compliment our 16’s, 14’s and U12’s girls program.

Also congratulations to our under 10’s SAP who won the under 11/12 div 2 comp against an undefeated Maroochydore Swans Football Club under 12 team. Well done to our under 11 SAP team who lost in the semi’s against our 12’s SAP team and under 9’s who lost to our under 12 CFC community team Scrambled...
